Someone warn the Disney princesses, lock up the pop classics and reinforce the barriers โ€” Punk Rock Factory are heading back out on tour!

The Welsh pop-punk chaos merchants have announced their โ€œBoats & Shows 2026โ€ UK tour, bringing their ridiculously infectious punk-rock party to venues across the country this October.

And yes, butt โ€” CARDIFF IS ON THE LIST. ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿด๐Ÿค˜

Even better, theyโ€™re bringing Call It Off along for the ride.

Thirteen shows.
One very angry-looking shark. ๐Ÿฆˆ
A suspiciously relaxed inflatable flamingo. ๐Ÿฆฉ
And enough pop-punk bangers to make your knees regret every decision you made in your twenties.

This should be an absolute belter.

๐Ÿญ WHO ARE PUNK ROCK FACTORY?

If youโ€™ve somehow avoided the glorious madness that is Punk Rock Factory, where have you been, mun?

The Welsh band have built a huge following by taking songs that absolutely shouldnโ€™t work as punk-rock anthemsโ€ฆ and turning them into precisely that.

Disney songs?

Punk โ€™em up.

Musical theatre?

Turn the guitars up.

Pop classics?

Give them drums, distortion and enough energy to start a circle pit.

The result is an utterly bonkers combination of nostalgia, comedy and genuinely cracking musicianship that has transformed Punk Rock Factory into one of the most entertaining live acts doing the rounds.

Theyโ€™ve taken songs generations of people grew up with and effectively asked:

โ€œYeah, but what if this had massive guitars?โ€

And frankly, thatโ€™s the sort of scientific research we support here at The Riff Report. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ”ฌ๐ŸŽธ

๐Ÿšข โ€œBOATS & SHOWS 2026โ€

The wonderfully titled Boats & Shows 2026 tour gets underway in Bristol on 15 October before rolling into Cardiff the following night.

From there, the madness heads north through Leeds, Aberdeen and Edinburgh before coming back down through Southampton, Wolverhampton, Sheffield, Southend and Exeter.

The final stretch takes in Frome and Liverpool before everything concludes with what should be one enormous party at Londonโ€™s O2 Forum Kentish Town on Halloween โ€” 31 October.

Punk Rock Factory on Halloween?

Oh, thatโ€™s asking for trouble. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐ŸŽƒ

๐Ÿ“… PUNK ROCK FACTORY โ€” BOATS & SHOWS 2026 UK TOUR DATES

๐ŸŽธ 15 October 2026 โ€” Bristol โ€” Thekla

๐Ÿด 16 October 2026 โ€” Cardiff โ€” Tramshed

๐ŸŽธ 17 October 2026 โ€” Leeds โ€” Beckett University

๐ŸŽธ 18 October 2026 โ€” Aberdeen โ€” Lemon Tree

๐ŸŽธ 20 October 2026 โ€” Edinburgh โ€” Liquid Rooms

๐ŸŽธ 22 October 2026 โ€” Southampton โ€” Engine Rooms

๐ŸŽธ 23 October 2026 โ€” Wolverhampton โ€” KKโ€™s Steel Mill

๐ŸŽธ 24 October 2026 โ€” Sheffield โ€” Corporation

๐ŸŽธ 25 October 2026 โ€” Southend โ€” Chinnerys

๐ŸŽธ 27 October 2026 โ€” Exeter โ€” Phoenix

๐ŸŽธ 28 October 2026 โ€” Frome โ€” Cheese & Grain

๐ŸŽธ 30 October 2026 โ€” Liverpool โ€” Olympia

๐ŸŽƒ 31 October 2026 โ€” London โ€” O2 Forum Kentish Town

Thatโ€™s a proper old-school run around the country.

And somewhere around Edinburgh, somebodyโ€™s knees are going to give up.

๐Ÿด CARDIFF โ€” WEโ€™RE LOOKING AT YOU

Naturally, thereโ€™s one date on that poster that immediately caught our Welsh little eyeballs.

Friday 16 October 2026 โ€” Tramshed, Cardiff.

OH YES. ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿ”ฅ

Punk Rock Factory playing on home soil is always going to have a little extra spice attached to it.

The Tramshed is exactly the sort of room where their particular brand of organised nonsense should thrive too โ€” big choruses bouncing around the venue, hands in the air, costumes appearing from absolutely nowhere and hundreds of people suddenly discovering they know every word to a song they havenโ€™t consciously listened to since childhood.

Thatโ€™s the magic of Punk Rock Factory.

You might walk in thinking:

โ€œIโ€™m definitely not singing along tonight.โ€

Twenty minutes later youโ€™re screaming a Disney chorus with your fist in the air next to a six-foot bloke wearing a battle jacket.

Rock โ€˜nโ€™ roll is beautiful, mun. ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ”ฅ CALL IT OFF JOIN THE PARTY

Punk Rock Factory wonโ€™t be sailing around Britain alone either.

Support across the tour comes from Call It Off, adding another healthy dose of melodic punk energy to proceedings.

That makes the tour far more than simply a novelty night built around punk covers.

Itโ€™s shaping up as a full-on pop-punk evening where the guitars are loud, the choruses are enormous and standing perfectly still will probably be physically impossible.

Exactly how we like it.

๐Ÿฆˆ CAN WE ALSO DISCUSS THIS TOUR POSTER?!

Whoever came up with the artwork deserves a pint.

Youโ€™ve got a massive shark lurking underneath the water while an inflatable flamingo casually floats around above it without a care in the world.

That flamingo has absolutely no idea whatโ€™s coming.

Which, coincidentally, is probably a fairly accurate representation of anyone attending their first Punk Rock Factory show.

Everything looks nice and peacefulโ€ฆ

Thenโ€”

BANG.

GUITARS.

DRUMS.

POP-PUNK DISNEY.

MOSH PIT.

Somebody dressed as a cartoon character flying past your left shoulder.

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿค˜

The artwork has proper retro movie-poster energy and fits the Boats & Shows title beautifully.

๐ŸŽค EXPECT ONE MASSIVE SINGALONG

One of the reasons Punk Rock Factory works so well live is ridiculously simple:

You already know the songs.

Even when you donโ€™t think you do.

Thatโ€™s the secret weapon.

Thereโ€™s no awkward standing around waiting for the one song you recognise.

Instead, the opening notes hit and suddenly some dusty corner of your brain wakes up screaming:

โ€œWAITโ€ฆ I KNOW THIS!โ€

Then the guitars kick in.

Thatโ€™s when everything goes sideways.

Their gigs blur the line between rock show, nostalgia trip, comedy night and enormous drunken karaoke session โ€” except the karaoke band happens to be ridiculously tight.

๐Ÿค˜ WELSH, LOUD AND COMPLETELY BONKERS

We will always have a soft spot for Welsh bands doing something genuinely different.

And Punk Rock Factory have carved out their own brilliantly weird corner of the rock world.

Theyโ€™ve taken something that could easily have been a five-minute internet joke and turned it into a genuine touring phenomenon.

Thatโ€™s no small achievement.

Behind all the humour, costumes and nostalgia is a band capable of delivering a seriously energetic rock show.

You donโ€™t keep audiences coming back simply because something is funny.

The riffs have to land.

The performances have to deliver.

And the crowd has to leave wanting another round.

Punk Rock Factory have managed to tick all three boxes while simultaneously making songs from childhood sound like they belong at a pop-punk festival.

Proper job. ๐Ÿค˜

๐Ÿšจ OCTOBER IS GOING TO GET LOUD

With 13 UK dates running from Bristol on 15 October through to London on 31 October, Boats & Shows 2026 is shaping up to be another wonderfully ridiculous chapter in the Punk Rock Factory story.

For us?

That Cardiff Tramshed date on 16 October has a massive circle drawn around it.

Welsh band.

Welsh crowd.

Pop-punk versions of songs nobody ever expected to hear with distorted guitars.

What could possibly go wrong?

Actuallyโ€ฆ

Donโ€™t answer that. ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿฆˆ Punk Rock Factory โ€” Boats & Shows 2026

๐Ÿ”ฅ With support from Call It Off

๐Ÿ“… 15โ€“31 October 2026

๐Ÿด Cardiff: Tramshed โ€” 16 October 2026

Get those vocal cords warmed up, dust off the pop-punk shoes and prepare to discover just how aggressively you can sing songs you learned as a kid.

Proudly Welsh. Proudly Loud.
