Album Reviews

Welcome to The Riff Report Album Reviews – where new records get turned up loud and we find out which albums deserve a permanent place in your collection. 💿🎸🔥🤘

From massive releases by rock and metal legends to debut albums from exciting grassroots bands, we'll explore the songs, riffs, vocals, musicianship, production and overall experience behind each record.

Expect rock, metal, alternative, punk, progressive, metalcore and everything else living around the louder edges of music.

We'll celebrate brilliant albums, highlight standout tracks and explain when something doesn't quite connect – without pretending our opinion is the only one that matters.

Supporting independent, unsigned and emerging artists remains hugely important, alongside championing new music from bands across Cymru. 🐉💿

So grab the headphones, drop the needle or fire up the speakers.

New albums. Massive riffs. Grassroots discoveries. Loud opinions.

Welcome to The Riff Report Album Reviews – listening from track one to the final note and turning everything up to eleven. 💿🎸🔥🤘
