Liam and Noel Gallagher have arrived together at the London premiere of the new Oasis documentary Donโ€™t Look Back in Anger โ€” and yes, seeing the brothers standing side by side still feels slightly unreal.

Stop the clocks, put the kettle on and alert every bucket-hat owner within a hundred-mile radius โ€” Liam and Noel Gallagher are back on the red carpet together.

The Oasis brothers arrived at Cineworld Leicester Square in London on 7 September 2026 for the UK premiere of Oasis: Donโ€™t Look Back in Anger, the documentary capturing the bandโ€™s enormous Live โ€™25 reunion tour.

Liam kept things characteristically casual in a dark hooded jacket, while Noel arrived wearing a tan jacket over a blue shirt. The brothers posed together in front of the filmโ€™s towering backdrop, exchanged a few looks and managed to get through the photographs without anybody launching a tambourine.

Progress, mun.

Oasis Mania Takes Over London

The London premiere comes just days after Liam and Noel appeared together at the Venice Film Festival, where the documentary received an eight-minute standing ovation.

The sight of the Gallaghers standing shoulder to shoulder at another major public event is still enough to send Oasis fans into meltdown.

After years of arguments, insults, interviews, rumours and reunion stories that went absolutely nowhere, the brothers finally put their differences aside for the monumental Oasis Live โ€™25 tour.

Now, that comeback has been captured for the big screen.

Donโ€™t Look Back in Anger promises to take fans beyond the enormous stadium performances and into the story behind one of the most unlikely reunions in British music history.

From Cardiff to the Rest of the World

For us here in Wales, the Oasis reunion will always carry an extra bit of magic.

The bandโ€™s comeback exploded into life at Cardiffโ€™s Principality Stadium in July 2025, with the Welsh capital hosting the opening two nights of the tour.

What a place to start it, butt.

Oasis could have chosen Manchester, London or practically any stadium on the planet, but it was Cardiff that heard those first notes and witnessed Liam swagger back onto an Oasis stage after 16 years.

Thousands of fans poured into the city wearing bucket hats, parkas and expressions suggesting theyโ€™d just discovered it was 1996 again. Pubs were bouncing, streets were singing and the Principality Stadium became one enormous Britpop choir.

That opening night wasnโ€™t merely another concert. It was the moment years of speculation finally became real.

The Gallaghers were back, Oasis were alive again and Wales had the best seat in the house.

Tidy.

Behind the Riffs, Rows and Reunion

Created by Peaky Blinders mastermind Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, Donโ€™t Look Back in Anger charts the emotional and cultural impact of the Live โ€™25 tour.

Southern and Lovelace previously directed the acclaimed LCD Soundsystem film Shut Up and Play the Hits, so they know a thing or two about capturing a band at a major turning point.

The Oasis documentary features:

  • Unseen rehearsal footage
  • Backstage access
  • Footage from the bandโ€™s massive stadium performances
  • Stories from Oasis fans around the world
  • The first joint interviews with Liam and Noel in more than 20 years
  • A closer look at how the brothers rebuilt their relationship

That last part alone should have fans racing towards the cinema faster than a Welsh festival crowd spotting the final dry patch of grass.

For decades, the relationship between Liam and Noel has been every bit as famous as the music. Their arguments became tabloid legend, their insults turned into entertainment and their split in 2009 appeared terminal.

Yet the music refused to disappear.

New generations continued discovering Definitely Maybe and (Whatโ€™s the Story) Morning Glory?. Stadiums kept singing โ€œDonโ€™t Look Back in Angerโ€, Liam and Noel enjoyed successful solo careers, and the possibility of an Oasis reunion remained one of rockโ€™s biggest unanswered questions.

Then came 2025.

More Than a Concert Film

The documentary isnโ€™t simply a greatest-hits performance stitched together for cinemas.

It explores what Oasis mean to their fans and why the reunion connected with several generations at once. Longtime followers brought their children, teenagers discovered the songs for themselves and entire cities became temporary centres of Britpop madness.

For older fans, the tour offered a chance to relive the music that soundtracked their youth.

For younger fans, it was the opportunity to experience Oasis as a living, breathing band instead of something preserved in grainy footage and family stories.

And for everyone who attended those opening shows in Cardiff, the documentary could bring the memories flooding back: the roar when the band appeared, the first eruption of guitars and tens of thousands of voices singing every word.

You can almost smell the lager and stadium hot dogs already.

Liam and Noel Keep Everyone Guessing

Naturally, the red-carpet appearance has already created another avalanche of speculation about the future of Oasis.

Could there be more concerts? Another tour? New music? A trip back to Cardiff?

As always with the Gallagher brothers, attempting to predict what happens next is dangerous work. Oasis can move from emotional reconciliation to glorious chaos quicker than a pint flying across a festival crowd.

For now, the fact Liam and Noel can stand together, laugh together and celebrate the story of the reunion feels significant enough.

The brothers didnโ€™t simply return for a nostalgic lap of honour. They reminded the world why Oasis became one of Britainโ€™s defining rock bands.

The Riff Report Verdict

Seeing Liam and Noel Gallagher together at the UK premiere of Donโ€™t Look Back in Anger is another pinch-yourself moment in a comeback packed with them.

The arguments might be legendary, but so are the songs.

This film offers fans the chance to step behind the curtain, revisit the stadium madness and witness the complicated relationship that somehow produced some of the biggest anthems in British music.

From Cardiff to Manchester, London and the rest of the world, Oasis Live โ€™25 became much more than a reunion tour.

It became a cultural event.

Now the story is heading to cinemas โ€” and judging by the reaction already, there wonโ€™t be many empty seats.

Liam and Noel are together. Nobody has stormed off. The film is finished. What a time to be alive, mun. ๐ŸŽฌ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿ”ฅ
