England Gigs & Tours Tracker โ€“ Rock, Metal & Alternative Shows Coming To England

Right.

Who gave England permission to announce this many gigs?

Because the calendar is becoming absolutely ridiculous. ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿ”ฅ

Welcome to The Riff Report England Gigs & Tours Tracker โ€” our rolling guide to rock, metal, punk, alternative, indie and generally guitar-shaped mayhem happening across England.

We’re talking:

Spiritbox. I Prevail. Papa Roach. Korn. Enter Shikari. Shinedown. The Pretty Reckless. Placebo. Royal Blood. The Darkness. Electric Callboy. Five Finger Death Punch. Megadeth. Weezer. Black Veil Brides. Manic Street Preachers. Suede.

And that barely gets us started.

From enormous arena shows in London, Manchester and Birmingham to legendary rooms in Nottingham, Leeds, Bristol, Newcastle, Southampton, Wolverhampton and beyond, England’s live calendar is already looking dangerous for anyone trying to maintain a sensible bank balance.

This is a living gig tracker, covering major confirmed rock, metal and alternative dates currently on our radar. Grassroots shows and new tour announcements appear constantly, so expect this beast to keep growing.

Right.

Open the calendar. Warn the bank account.

Let’s go.

๐Ÿ‚ September 2026

September comes flying straight out of the pit.

๐Ÿ’€ Monday 14 September

Spiritbox

Spiritbox + JINJER + Dying Wish
๐Ÿ“ Motorpoint Arena โ€“ Nottingham

Spiritbox’s first UK arena headline run brings one absolutely filthy support bill with it.

Good luck functioning normally at work on Tuesday.

๐Ÿ’ฅ Saturday 19 September

I Prevail

One arena-metalcore tour finishes and another one basically kicks the door down.

I Prevail bring the Violent Nature Tour to England with a proper collection of breakdown merchants.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Tuesday 22 September

I Prevail
๐Ÿ“ O2 Victoria Warehouse โ€“ Manchester

๐Ÿ’€ Friday 25 September

I Prevail
๐Ÿ“ Alexandra Palace โ€“ London

I Prevail
๐Ÿ“ O2 Academy โ€“ Birmingham

๐Ÿค˜ Sunday 27 September

I Prevail
๐Ÿ“ O2 Academy โ€“ Birmingham

Birmingham gets two nights because apparently one wasn’t enough.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Sunday 20 September

A Skylit Drive + Vampires Everywhere
๐Ÿ“ The 1865 โ€“ Southampton

A proper throwback for anyone whose teenage wardrobe contained enough black clothing to legally qualify as a blackout curtain.

๐ŸŽธ Saturday 26 September

Good Kid
๐Ÿ“ Roundhouse โ€“ London

Indie-rock energy, pop-punk attitude and one of London’s best-loved venues.

๐ŸŽธ From Monday 28 September

Don Broco โ€“ Nightmare Tripping Tour

Don Broco begin another UK run stretching into October.

If you’ve seen Don Broco live before, you’ll already know that describing one of their crowds as “energetic” is like describing Motรถrhead as “a little noisy”.

๐ŸŽƒ October 2026

October is where things become properly silly.

๐Ÿ’€ Friday 9 October

Fear Factory

๐Ÿ“ The 1865 โ€“ Southampton

Industrial metal pioneers Fear Factory bring the Cybernetic Domination Tour to Southampton.

Mechanical riffs.

Double kicks.

Neck problems.

Beautiful.

๐Ÿค˜ Saturday 10 October

The Amity Affliction

The Amity Affliction + Silent Planet + Varials + Orthodox
๐Ÿ“ O2 Ritz โ€“ Manchester

That support bill alone could flatten a medium-sized building.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Sunday 11 October

The Amity Affliction
๐Ÿ“ O2 Forum Kentish Town โ€“ London

๐Ÿ’€ Tuesday 13 October

The Amity Affliction
๐Ÿ“ O2 Academy โ€“ Bristol

The House Of Cards run brings three nights of breakdown-heavy carnage across England.

๐ŸŽธ Saturday 10 October

Rockin’1000

๐Ÿ“ AO Arena โ€“ Manchester

Fancy seeing a rock band containing hundreds of musicians playing simultaneously?

Of course you do.

Rockin’1000 brings its enormous communal rock spectacle to Manchester with hundreds of singers, guitarists, bassists, drummers and musicians performing rock classics together.

Someone somewhere is definitely turning an amplifier up to eleven.

๐ŸŽธ October

The Reytons

South Yorkshire’s own DIY success story heads around the country during October, including a monster headline show at Alexandra Palace.

From independent releases to Ally Pally.

That’s how you bloody do it.

๐Ÿ‰ Friday 30 October

Manic Street Preachers + Suede

๐Ÿ“ First Direct Arena โ€“ Leeds

Yes, our Welsh boys are crossing the border.

And they’re bringing Suede.

Two of Britain’s defining alternative-rock bands share the stage for what should be one seriously nostalgic arena run.

๐ŸŽธ Saturday 31 October

Manic Street Preachers + Suede
๐Ÿ“ Co-op Live โ€“ Manchester

Halloween in Manchester with the Manics and Suede?

We’ll take it.

๐Ÿ”ฅ November 2026

Papa Roach + LANDMVRKS + Sleep Theory
๐Ÿ“ Co-op Live โ€“ Manchester

Sunday 8 November

Papa Roach + LANDMVRKS + Sleep Theory
๐Ÿ“ The O2 โ€“ London

Papa Roach continue their remarkable ability to make an entire arena collectively lose its mind when those opening notes to Last Resort arrive.

And with LANDMVRKS and Sleep Theory along for the ride?

That’s one hell of a package.

๐ŸŽธ Manic Street Preachers + Suede

Friday 6 November

๐Ÿ“ The O2 โ€“ London

Saturday 7 November

๐Ÿ“ Utilita Arena โ€“ Birmingham

Wednesday 11 November

๐Ÿ“ Motorpoint Arena โ€“ Nottingham

Thursday 12 November

๐Ÿ“ Bournemouth International Centre โ€“ Bournemouth

Welsh alternative-rock royalty and Britpop icons sharing stages across England.

We’re expecting choruses.

We’re expecting nostalgia.

We’re expecting at least one bloke in the crowd telling everybody he saw both bands before they were famous.

๐Ÿค˜ Enter Shikari โ€“ LOSE YOUR SELF Tour

Friday 13 November

๐Ÿ“ Motorpoint Arena โ€“ Nottingham

Sunday 15 November

๐Ÿ“ Connexin Live โ€“ Hull

Saturday 21 November

๐Ÿ“ Alexandra Palace โ€“ London

Support: Holding Absence + The Callous Daoboys

Now that’s a tour.

Enter Shikari transforming Ally Pally into a gigantic bouncing mass of humanity for two nights sounds exactly as sensible as you’d imagine.

Which is why we’re completely here for it.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Shinedown โ€“ Dance, Kid, Dance Act II

Shinedown + Coheed And Cambria + Those Damn Crows

Saturday 14 November

๐Ÿ“ bp pulse LIVE โ€“ Birmingham

Tuesday 17 November

That’s basically an entire mini-festival arriving indoors.

๐ŸŽธ Royal Blood

Tuesday 24 November

๐Ÿ“ The Prospect Building โ€“ Bristol

Wednesday 25 November

๐Ÿ“ O2 City Hall โ€“ Newcastle

Two blokes.

Bass.

Drums.

Enough noise to convince you there must secretly be another seven musicians hiding behind the amplifiers.

๐Ÿ–ค The Pretty Reckless โ€“ Dear God Tour

The Pretty Reckless + YONAKA + The Cruel Knives

Thursday 26 November

๐Ÿ“ The Prospect Building โ€“ Bristol

Friday 27 November

๐Ÿ–ค Saturday 5 December

Placebo

๐Ÿ“ OVO Arena Wembley โ€“ London

Placebo celebrate 30 years with a tour concentrating heavily on material from Placebo and Without You I’m Nothing.

Anyone who spent the late ’90s wearing eyeliner and staring dramatically at ceilings has been summoned.

๐Ÿ’€ Polyphia โ€“ December 2026

Polyphia + Perturbator + RJ Pasin

Friday 11 December

๐Ÿ“ O2 Academy โ€“ Birmingham

Saturday 12 December

๐Ÿ“ Manchester Academy โ€“ Manchester

Tuesday 15 December

๐Ÿ“ O2 Academy โ€“ Leeds

Wednesday 16 December

๐Ÿ“ O2 Academy Brixton โ€“ London

For anyone who likes guitars being played in ways that make ordinary humans question whether they’ve been practising incorrectly for their entire lives.

Polyphia are back.

โœจ The Darkness

Saturday 12 December

๐Ÿ“ Utilita Arena โ€“ Birmingham

Tuesday 15 December

๐Ÿ“ Brighton Centre โ€“ Brighton

Wednesday 16 December

๐Ÿ“ The O2 โ€“ London

Big riffs.

Big choruses.

Ridiculous falsetto.

Probably several costumes that would cause problems going through airport security.

The Darkness at Christmas just feels right.

๐Ÿค˜ 2027 โ€“ England Is Already Looking Ridiculous

You know how January is supposed to be quiet?

Apparently nobody told the touring industry.

โ„๏ธ January 2027

Five Finger Death Punch + Lamb Of God + Bleed From Within

Stop.

Read that again.

Saturday 16 January

๐Ÿ“ AO Arena โ€“ Manchester

Friday 22 January

๐Ÿ“ bp pulse LIVE โ€“ Birmingham

Saturday 23 January

๐Ÿ“ The O2 โ€“ London

Five Finger Death Punch. Lamb Of God. Bleed From Within.

That is less a concert and more a controlled demolition exercise.

โšก Electric Callboy โ€“ TANZNEID World Tour

Saturday 23 January

๐Ÿ“ Co-op Live โ€“ Manchester

Sunday 24 January

๐Ÿ“ Motorpoint Arena โ€“ Nottingham

Tuesday 26 January

And we wouldn’t want them any other way.

Friday 5 February

Theory Of A Deadman

๐Ÿ“ Rock City โ€“ Nottingham

The Canadian rockers bring The Barricade Tour to the legendary Nottingham venue.

๐ŸŒง๏ธ March 2027

March has one tour that immediately jumps off the page.

๐Ÿ’€ MEGADETH

๐Ÿ“ Motorpoint Arena โ€“ Nottingham

Saturday 13 March

๐Ÿ“ Co-op Live โ€“ Manchester

๐Ÿ”ฅ March 2027

Sleeping With Sirens

Emo fringe owners assemble.

๐Ÿฅ March 2027

Rush

Rush return to UK stages during March 2027 for their first tour in more than a decade, celebrating their music while paying tribute to the legacy of Neil Peart.

There are certain tours you know people will be talking about for years.

This already feels like one of them.

๐Ÿ“ First Direct Arena โ€“ Leeds

Friday 21 May

๐Ÿ“ Utilita Arena โ€“ Birmingham

Saturday 22 May

๐Ÿ“ Alexandra Palace โ€“ London

Weezer and Taking Back Sunday together is basically someone turning a 2000s alternative-rock playlist into an arena tour.

We’re not complaining.

โ˜€๏ธ June 2027

๐Ÿค˜ DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL 2027

๐Ÿ“ Donington Park โ€“ Derbyshire
๐Ÿ“… June 2027

The sacred ground calls again.

Donington.

Camping chairs.

Questionable breakfasts.

Band shirts.

Dust.

Mud.

The smell of somebody cooking bacon at 7am.

And enough riffs to shake the East Midlands.

Download Festival returns to Donington in June 2027, with camping activity beginning from 9 June and the main festival weekend running around the traditional mid-June slot.

For rock and metal fans, Donington remains pilgrimage territory.

See you in the village.

Probably carrying a crate.

๐ŸŸ๏ธ England’s Rock & Metal Map Is Massive

One thing becomes obvious when you look through the calendar:

This isn’t just London.

Yes, London gets an absurd number of tours.

But England’s rock and metal circuit stretches everywhere.

We’ve got major shows happening in:

  • London
  • Manchester
  • Birmingham
  • Nottingham
  • Leeds
  • Newcastle
  • Bristol
  • Southampton
  • Bournemouth
  • Brighton
  • Wolverhampton
  • Hull
  • Derbyshire
  • And plenty more

Some nights involve 20,000 people inside an arena.

Others involve 200 people inside a room with a ceiling approximately six inches above the drummer’s head.

Both matter.

๐Ÿบ Support The Grassroots

As always, The Riff Report will shout about the enormous tours.

They’re massive.

They’re exciting.

They’re spectacular.

But England’s grassroots circuit is where rock music actually breathes.

Venues such as Rock City, Thekla, The 1865, The Joiners, O2 Academy venues, independent clubs, pubs and hundreds of smaller rooms provide the stages where tomorrow’s festival bands are learning how to become terrifyingly good.

Go and see the band you’ve never heard of.

Watch the support act.

Buy the shirt.

Buy physical music.

Grab a pint if you fancy one.

Tell your mates.

Post about them.

That little bit of support matters far more than people sometimes realise.

๐Ÿ“ฃ Got An English Gig We’ve Missed?

This page is designed to grow.

Tours are announced constantly and grassroots calendars can change virtually every day.

So if you’re a:

  • Band
  • Artist
  • Venue
  • Promoter
  • PR company
  • Record label
  • Festival organiser
  • Photographer
  • Or an eagle-eyed gig addict

โ€ฆand you’ve spotted an English rock, metal, punk or alternative show that belongs here, give The Riff Report a shout.

Unsigned and grassroots bands are especially welcome.

You don’t need an arena.

You don’t need pyro.

You don’t need 500,000 Spotify listeners.

If you’re making good noise, we’re interested.

โš ๏ธ Check Before Travelling

As always, gig information can change.

Dates move.

Venues change.

Support acts disappear.

Extra dates get announced.

Tours occasionally get postponed.

Always check with the official artist, promoter, ticket provider or venue before booking expensive travel or setting off.

Because arriving in Manchester with three mates, a hotel reservation and no gig would be what professionals call:

A bit of a bugger.

๐Ÿค˜ England Is Going To Be Loud

From Spiritbox kicking off autumn 2026 to Megadeth steamrolling through March and Download returning to Donington next summer, the English rock and metal calendar is absolutely stacked.

And we’re nowhere near finished yet.

More tours will come.

More bands will announce dates.

More festivals will drop line-ups.

More support acts will suddenly make an already good ticket completely irresistible.

And naturallyโ€ฆ

We’ll probably buy far too many tickets.

Again.

So gather the gig crew.

Check the trains.

Charge the phone.

Pack the earplugs.

Protect the bank balance as best you can.

And we’ll see you down the front.

KEEP LIVE MUSIC LOUD. ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Riff Report

Rock. Metal. Festivals. Gigs. Chaos.

Proudly independent. Proudly Welsh. Always loud. ๐Ÿ‰
