The night is calling — and apparently it wants riffs, zombies, soaring melodies and one hell of a three-band bill.

DOMINUM are heading out on the Night Is Calling Tour 2026, bringing their theatrical heavy metal spectacle across Europe and the UK throughout November and December 2026.

And Dr. Dead isn’t travelling alone.

Joining DOMINUM for the run are Swedish melodic rock adventurers The Night Flight Orchestra and American cinematic metallers Edge Of Paradise, creating a seriously varied package that should offer something different from the moment the doors open.

The tour begins in Paris on 24 November before travelling across mainland Europe and hitting Manchester, Bristol and London in December.

🧟 DOMINUM – The Dead Are Taking Over

DOMINUM have quickly established themselves as one of the more theatrical names emerging from modern melodic metal.

Fronted by the mysterious Dr. Dead, the German outfit combine heavy riffs, enormous choruses, cinematic production and a gloriously over-the-top horror concept filled with zombies and the undead.

Because sometimes metal doesn’t need to be complicated.

Sometimes you just need massive riffs and a few reanimated corpses wandering around.

✈️ Who Are The Night Flight Orchestra?

If you’ve never experienced The Night Flight Orchestra, you’re in for something completely different.

Formed in Sweden in 2007, the band originally grew from an idea between Björn Strid and David Andersson, musicians better known at the time for considerably heavier music.

Strid, of course, is widely recognised as the frontman of Soilwork, but The Night Flight Orchestra allows him to explore an entirely different musical universe.

Rather than crushing modern metal, we’re talking classic rock, AOR, progressive rock, disco, funk and glossy late-’70s and early-’80s influences.

Think enormous choruses.

Synths.

Guitar solos.

Danceable rhythms.

Retro glamour.

And the sort of songs that make you want to drive through a neon-lit city at midnight despite currently standing in a sweaty rock venue holding a pint.

What started as something of a musical escape developed into a fully fledged band with its own unmistakable identity.

Albums including Internal Affairs, Skyline Whispers, Amber Galactic, Sometimes The World Ain’t Enough, Aeromantic and Aeromantic II helped establish The Night Flight Orchestra as much more than a side project.

Their live performances have become particularly celebrated because the band fully embrace the flamboyance of their music.

Opening the evening are Edge Of Paradise, a band bringing another completely different atmosphere to the package.

Formed in Los Angeles, Edge Of Paradise are fronted by vocalist Margarita Monet and have developed a sound combining traditional heavy metal foundations with modern production, electronics, symphonic elements and futuristic imagery.

Where DOMINUM explore horror and The Night Flight Orchestra dive headfirst into retro rock, Edge Of Paradise increasingly look towards science fiction and futuristic concepts.

Their music blends muscular guitar work with atmospheric electronics and Monet’s powerful vocals, giving the band a sound that can shift between melodic, cinematic and properly heavy.

Edge Of Paradise have steadily expanded the scale of their sound across releases including Mask, Immortal Waltz, Universe, The Unknown and Hologram.
