Rockโs nicest guy just keeps proving it. Foo Fighters frontman (and all-round legend) Dave Grohl was honoured at the Hope In The City Of Angels gala this weekend for his incredible volunteer work feeding the homeless across Los Angeles.
Grohl, whoโs known for rolling up his sleeves and firing up the BBQ for those in need, has spent countless nights cooking for charities like Hope the Mission and Feed the Streets LA โ sometimes pulling all-nighters grilling meat in the rain, because thatโs just how the man rolls.
At the gala, Grohl was recognised for his ongoing dedication to tackling food insecurity and using his platform to inspire kindness and community. Ever humble, he reportedly accepted the award with his trademark grin and a beer in hand, saying something along the lines of:
โI just like cooking food for people, man. Itโs what I do. If someoneโs hungry, you feed โem. Simple as that.โ
He even joked about starting a โBBQ tourโ across America โ imagine that: Fooโd Fighters on the road! ๐ฅ๐
