THE AIR RAID SIREN IS READY TO SOUND AGAIN — AND THIS TIME, BRUCE DICKINSON IS BRINGING HIS SOLO METAL MACHINE BACK TO THE UK AND EUROPE! 🎤🔥
IRON MAIDEN frontman and heavy metal legend BRUCE DICKINSON has officially announced his enormous PsychoGod Tour 2027, featuring 31 headline and festival appearances across Europe, including eight shows in the UK and Ireland.
And if that wasn’t enough to get metalheads reaching for their battle jackets, Swedish progressive metal heavyweights EVERGREY have been confirmed as special guests for the November and December leg.
The tour kicks off at Belfast’s Ulster Hall on Monday 14 June 2027, before heading to Dublin and mainland Europe for a mixture of headline performances and major festival appearances.
Dickinson will then return to the road in November, bringing the tour to Lincoln, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, London and Birmingham.
With brand-new music on the horizon, fan favourites from his extensive solo catalogue and a seriously talented band behind him, this promises to be one of the biggest solo touring adventures of Dickinson’s career.
And at 68 years old, the man shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.
Honestly, does Bruce Dickinson ever sit still? 😂🤘
🎤 Bruce Dickinson Is Back – And He’s Bringing The Heavy Metal Thunder!
Few voices in heavy metal history are as instantly recognisable as Bruce Dickinson’s.
For more than four decades, the legendary vocalist has helped define the sound of traditional British heavy metal through his extraordinary work with IRON MAIDEN.
From the thunderous opening of ‘The Number Of The Beast’ to the soaring melodies of ‘Hallowed Be Thy Name’, ‘Run To The Hills’ and ‘Fear Of The Dark’, Dickinson has delivered some of the most iconic vocal performances in rock history.
But there’s another side to Bruce Dickinson that deserves just as much attention.
His solo career.
Away from IRON MAIDEN, Dickinson has developed an impressive catalogue of albums exploring everything from hard rock and traditional heavy metal to darker, progressive and more experimental sounds.
The PsychoGod Tour will celebrate that musical journey, combining new material with established favourites and deeper cuts from throughout his solo career.
And judging by the announcement, Dickinson isn’t interested in simply going through the motions.
He’s ready to deliver a proper live heavy metal experience.
🔥 Bruce Dickinson Makes His Feelings About Real Musicians Very Clear
Speaking about the forthcoming tour, Dickinson emphasised the importance of genuine musicianship and the chemistry of a real band.
He said:
“What we do is real and that’s so important right now. A real drummer, a real bass player, real guitarists, real keyboards – AI can only copy, it can only pretend. It can never be in love, and it can never play. This band? They can really play!”
It’s a statement that perfectly captures Dickinson’s passion for live music.
And when you’ve got musicians of this calibre standing alongside you, it’s easy to understand his enthusiasm.

🎸 Meet Bruce Dickinson’s Incredible Solo Band
Bruce Dickinson won’t be heading out on this enormous tour alone.
Joining him will be the musicians who have helped bring his recent solo material to life.
🎸 Chris Declercq – Guitar
A talented guitarist and longtime Dickinson collaborator, Chris Declercq brings powerful riffs, technical precision and plenty of heavy metal firepower to the stage.
🎸 Philip Näslund – Guitar
Philip Näslund adds another layer of guitar aggression and melodic complexity, helping create the enormous twin-guitar sound that fans expect from Dickinson’s heavier material.
🎸 Tanya O’Callaghan – Bass
Irish bassist Tanya O’Callaghan is a formidable musician with an impressive career in rock and metal.
Having performed with artists including WHITESNAKE, O’Callaghan brings tremendous energy, groove and stage presence to the band.
Her involvement also gives the tour another Irish connection.
🥁 Dave Moreno – Drums
Dave Moreno provides the thunderous rhythmic foundation behind Dickinson’s solo performances.
His drumming combines precision, power and the versatility required to tackle material spanning several decades.
🎹 Mistheria – Keyboards
Italian keyboardist Mistheria brings atmosphere, orchestral textures and progressive elements to the band’s sound.
His contributions are particularly important when performing Dickinson’s more elaborate and cinematic compositions.
Together, these musicians form a band capable of delivering everything from straightforward heavy metal anthems to complex progressive arrangements.
And Dickinson clearly believes he’s assembled something special.
🤘 EVERGREY Announced As Special Guests!
Now here’s an announcement that makes the PsychoGod Tour even more exciting.
Swedish progressive metal masters EVERGREY will join Bruce Dickinson throughout the November and December European leg.
For fans of powerful vocals, atmospheric songwriting and technically impressive musicianship, this is an outstanding pairing.
🇸🇪 Who Are EVERGREY?
Formed in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1995, EVERGREY have become one of the most respected names in progressive and melodic metal.
Led by vocalist and guitarist Tom S. Englund, the band have built their reputation around emotionally charged lyrics, crushing guitar riffs, atmospheric keyboards and enormous melodic choruses.
Their music frequently explores darker themes, including isolation, personal struggles, fear and human relationships.
But despite those sometimes sombre subjects, their songs possess a tremendous sense of power and emotional intensity.
Their distinctive combination of progressive complexity and accessible melody has earned them a loyal international following.
💿 Essential EVERGREY Albums
For fans unfamiliar with EVERGREY, these releases offer an excellent introduction.
In Search Of Truth (2001)

Recreation Day (2003)
A powerful collection featuring some of the band’s most memorable early material.
The Inner Circle (2004)
A dark and emotionally intense concept album that remains a favourite among progressive metal fans.
Hymns For The Broken (2014)
An important modern-era release that helped introduce the band to another generation of listeners.

🔥 Why EVERGREY Are The Perfect Support Band
Bruce Dickinson’s solo catalogue has frequently explored darker, more progressive territory than some of IRON MAIDEN’s traditional heavy metal material.
That makes EVERGREY a particularly suitable touring partner.
Both artists place enormous emphasis on strong vocals.
Both enjoy experimenting with ambitious musical arrangements.
And both have established reputations for delivering powerful live performances.
For fans attending the November and December concerts, this isn’t simply an opening act warming up the audience.
It’s two outstanding metal artists sharing one stage on the same night.
Get there early, folks.
You really don’t want to miss EVERGREY!
💿 Bruce Dickinson Preparing New Solo Music For 2027
Another major talking point surrounding the PsychoGod Tour is the promise of brand-new music.
Following the success of The Mandrake Project in 2024, Dickinson has been working on fresh material with his solo band.
The musicians involved in the forthcoming tour have also been recording together, laying the foundations for Dickinson’s next musical chapter.
A new solo album is expected in 2027, although the official title and release date have not yet been confirmed.
That means the PsychoGod concerts could provide audiences with their first opportunities to experience some of the new songs live.
And considering Dickinson’s willingness to explore different musical styles, there’s plenty of reason to be excited.
🔥 The Mandrake Project – A Triumphant Return
Released in March 2024, The Mandrake Project marked Dickinson’s first solo studio album in almost two decades.
The record followed 2005’s Tyranny Of Souls and demonstrated that the vocalist had lost none of his creative ambition.
Featuring tracks including ‘Afterglow Of Ragnarok’, ‘Rain On The Graves’ and ‘Many Doors To Hell’, the album combined heavy riffs, dark storytelling and cinematic musical arrangements.
The accompanying tour took Dickinson across multiple continents, allowing fans to experience his solo material in a live setting once again.
The tour eventually concluded in Brazil in September 2025 after 71 performances across three continents.
Now, with PsychoGod, Dickinson is preparing to continue that momentum.
🎶 What Songs Could Bruce Dickinson Perform?
One of the most exciting aspects of Dickinson’s solo concerts is the opportunity to hear songs that rarely, if ever, appear during IRON MAIDEN performances.
His solo discography includes:
- Tattooed Millionaire (1990)
- Balls To Picasso (1994)
- Skunkworks (1996)
- Accident Of Birth (1997)
- The Chemical Wedding (1998)
- Tyranny Of Souls (2005)
- The Mandrake Project (2024)
With such a varied catalogue, the possibilities are enormous.
Fan favourites that could potentially feature include:
- ‘Tattooed Millionaire’
- ‘Tears Of The Dragon’
- ‘Road To Hell’
- ‘Accident Of Birth’
- ‘Darkside Of Aquarius’
- ‘The Tower’
- ‘Chemical Wedding’
- ‘King In Crimson’
- ‘Abduction’
- ‘Afterglow Of Ragnarok’
- ‘Rain On The Graves’
These are possibilities rather than a confirmed 2027 setlist.
Dickinson has promised a mixture of new music, established favourites and deeper cuts, so fans can expect a celebration of his solo career rather than simply a greatest-hits performance.
🇬🇧 Eight UK & Ireland Shows – But What About Wales?
Now, here’s the part where we have to raise a little Welsh eyebrow. 🐉
Bruce Dickinson has announced eight UK and Ireland concerts.
Belfast? Yes.
Dublin? Yes.
Glasgow? Yes.
Manchester? Yes.
Bristol? Yes.
London? Yes.
Birmingham? Yes.
Lincoln? Yes.
CARDIFF? Unfortunately, no.
There are currently no Welsh dates on the PsychoGod Tour itinerary.
For metalheads across South Wales, the Bristol O2 Academy concert on Wednesday 1 December 2027 is likely to be one of the most practical options.
And with EVERGREY appearing as special guests, it could be well worth making the journey across the Severn.
Of course, we’re still hoping that additional dates might eventually include Cymru.
Come on, Bruce.
Cardiff knows how to welcome heavy metal royalty! 🤘🐉
