Sunday – 5:40pm to 6:10pm | VIP Acoustic Stage | Steelhouse Festival 2026
As the final evening of Steelhouse Festival 2026 gathered momentum, the VIP Acoustic Stage welcomed one of the weekend’s biggest revelations. Dan Byrne returned to the mountain for a stripped-back acoustic performance that proved exactly why so many people have been talking about him throughout the festival.
After delivering an electrifying Main Stage set earlier in the weekend and spending time meeting fans at the Planet Rock Signing Tent, Byrne stepped onto the acoustic stage with nothing more than a guitar, his incredible voice and a natural charisma that instantly won over everyone packed into the Big Top.
It wasn’t flashy.
It wasn’t over-produced.
It was simply thirty minutes of brilliant music performed from the heart.
🎤 A Voice That Demands Your Attention
Dan Byrne’s vocals were outstanding from the very first note.
Powerful yet beautifully controlled, his voice carried effortlessly around the tent, capturing every ounce of emotion in each song. Whether delivering quieter, reflective moments or letting loose with soaring choruses, he had the audience completely hooked.
The acoustic setting highlighted just how versatile he is as a vocalist, allowing every lyric to hit home without distraction.
It was impossible not to be drawn into the performance.
🎸 Songwriting Takes Centre Stage
With the electric guitars left backstage, Byrne’s songwriting became the star of the show.
His acoustic guitar work was crisp, confident and full of feeling, providing the perfect backdrop for songs that blended modern rock with touches of blues and classic influences. Every chord rang clearly through the Big Top, while the stripped-back arrangements revealed layers of the songs that fans may never have noticed before.
It was a reminder that the strongest songs work just as well around a campfire as they do on a festival stage.
🤘 The Crowd Were Right Behind Him
The VIP audience embraced every minute of the performance.
Fans sang along, clapped between songs and cheered loudly after each number, creating an atmosphere that was warm, welcoming and full of appreciation. Byrne’s relaxed personality shone through as he chatted with the crowd, sharing stories, laughing with fans and making everyone feel like part of the experience.
It was the kind of set that perfectly sums up what Steelhouse Festival is all about—bringing artists and fans together in a way that feels genuine and unforgettable.
🏔️ One More Magical Mountain Moment
With the Brecon Beacons stretching into the distance and the final night of Steelhouse beginning to unfold, Dan Byrne provided one last unforgettable acoustic highlight.
There was something magical about hearing heartfelt rock songs echo across the mountain as the sun slowly began to dip. The performance created a moment where everyone seemed to forget about the rush of festival life and simply enjoy great music in a beautiful setting.
These are the moments that keep people coming back to Steelhouse year after year.
🔥 A Star Very Much on the Rise
If this weekend proved anything, it’s that Dan Byrne has an incredibly bright future ahead.
Across both his Main Stage and acoustic performances, he demonstrated remarkable versatility, outstanding musicianship and a natural ability to connect with audiences. His VIP Acoustic Stage appearance wasn’t simply another festival slot—it was another statement that he’s destined for even bigger stages in the years to come.
Steelhouse has a habit of showcasing tomorrow’s stars.
Dan Byrne certainly looked like one of them.
