STONEDEAD FESTIVAL 2027 has officially SOLD OUT! The hugely popular independent rock festival has confirmed that all tickets for next year’s event have been snapped up, but there is still hope for fans who missed out. Organisers have now opened an official ticket waiting list, giving disappointed rock fans another opportunity to secure a place at one of the UK’s most loved one-day rock festivals!

ONE DAY. ONE STAGE. ONE MONSTER ROCK SHOW! 🤘

If you were hoping to grab a ticket for STONEDEAD FESTIVAL 2027, you might have already discovered that tickets have disappeared faster than a guitar pick at a MOTÖRHEAD gig!

The much-loved independent rock festival, which takes place at Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire, has confirmed that its 2027 edition is completely sold out.

And with the event not taking place until Saturday 28 August 2027, the announcement is another impressive achievement for the organisers behind this increasingly popular celebration of classic rock, hard rock and emerging talent.

But don’t put away those denim jackets and festival boots just yet!

STONEDEAD organisers have confirmed that the official ticket waiting list is now open, allowing fans who missed out on the original sale to register their interest in any tickets that may become available.

And according to the festival, registering sooner could improve your chances of getting through the gates next August.

🎟️ STONEDEAD 2027 – Official Ticket Waiting List Now Open!

Following the sell-out announcement, STONEDEAD Festival shared an important update with fans through its official social media channels.

The message was straightforward:

“Missed out on a ticket? Waiting list now open.”

Organisers also encouraged fans to register as early as possible, explaining that those who join the list sooner will have a better chance of securing a ticket.

🤘 How To Join The STONEDEAD 2027 Waiting List

Fans who missed out can register using the festival’s official waiting list.

Official waiting list:

Joining the waiting list does not guarantee a ticket, but it gives fans an opportunity to be considered if additional tickets become available.

If you are still hoping to attend STONEDEAD 2027, registering promptly is sensible.

Festivalgoers should also keep an eye on their email inbox and follow any instructions provided by the organisers.

Availability will depend on whether tickets are released back into the system or further legitimate allocations become available.

Classic rock, hard rock and emerging rock talent

The festival will once again return to its established home at Newark Showground, bringing together rock fans from across Britain for another enormous day of live music.

🎸 ONE DAY. ONE STAGE. ONE MONSTER ROCK SHOW!

What makes STONEDEAD Festival so special?

For many regular attendees, the answer is simple.

It’s a proper old-school rock festival that puts the music and the fans first.

Inspired by the spirit of the original Monsters Of Rock concerts at Donington Park, STONEDEAD has built its reputation around a straightforward formula.

One day.

One stage.

A fantastic collection of established and emerging rock bands.

And thousands of passionate music fans enjoying a full day of live performances without worrying about overlapping set times.

There’s no racing between half a dozen stages, missing your favourite band’s opening song or having to choose between two artists you desperately want to see.

At STONEDEAD, everyone shares the same stage and the same musical experience.

That approach has helped the event become one of the most distinctive independent rock festivals in Britain.

🔥 Another Huge Achievement For An Independent Festival

STONEDEAD’s latest sell-out is particularly impressive because the event is organised by volunteers and built around a genuine passion for live music.

Unlike some of the enormous commercial festivals dominating the summer calendar, STONEDEAD has maintained a comparatively intimate atmosphere.

Its organisers have focused on delivering a festival experience that celebrates the relationship between bands and audiences.

Over the years, that dedication has helped establish a remarkably loyal community of regular attendees.

For many festivalgoers, STONEDEAD has become an annual tradition.

It’s a chance to catch up with friends, discover new bands, enjoy established rock favourites and experience the atmosphere of a classic British outdoor rock show.

The 2027 sell-out demonstrates just how much confidence fans have developed in the event.

🤘 STONEDEAD Has Welcomed Some Incredible Rock Bands

Since its beginnings in 2018, STONEDEAD has developed an impressive reputation for bringing established international artists and exciting emerging musicians to Newark.

Previous editions have featured artists including:

  • EUROPE
  • ACCEPT
  • URIAH HEEP
  • MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP
  • BLACK STAR RIDERS
  • MAGNUM
  • BATTLE BEAST
  • ARMORED SAINT
  • THE WILDHEARTS
  • TERRORVISION
  • GUN
  • H.E.A.T
  • KRIS BARRAS BAND
  • MASSIVE WAGONS
  • THE TREATMENT
  • THE DAMN TRUTH

The festival’s willingness to showcase both recognised names and rising talent has become one of its greatest strengths.

For smaller bands, appearing at STONEDEAD provides an opportunity to perform in front of an audience that genuinely appreciates guitar-driven music.

And for fans, it creates opportunities to discover their next favourite band.

🎶 What About The STONEDEAD 2027 Line-Up?

At the time of this announcement, the full 2027 line-up has not been officially revealed.

That makes the sell-out particularly impressive.

Fans have already demonstrated their confidence in the festival before knowing exactly which bands will be performing.

Naturally, speculation is already building about who might headline next year’s event.

Will the organisers bring back a previous favourite?

Could another legendary British hard-rock band make its STONEDEAD debut?

Or might the festival surprise everyone with a major international act?

For now, we’ll have to wait and see.

No headline artists should be considered confirmed until STONEDEAD makes an official announcement.

But one thing is guaranteed: whoever takes to that stage next August will be performing in front of a sold-out crowd!

🎟️ Missed Out? Don’t Give Up On STONEDEAD 2027!

If you didn’t manage to purchase a ticket before the sell-out, joining the official waiting list is the most sensible next step.

And it’s worth acting sooner rather than later.

The festival has specifically advised fans that earlier registration improves their chances of being offered a ticket.

It is also important to avoid unofficial sellers offering tickets through social media.

Major festival sell-outs can attract scammers who advertise tickets they do not actually possess.

Before sending money to anyone, make sure the ticket is being offered through a legitimate, festival-approved process.

The official STONEDEAD waiting list is the safest starting point for anyone still hoping to attend.

🍻 Why Fans Keep Coming Back To STONEDEAD

STONEDEAD has developed something that many festivals strive for but not all manage to achieve: a genuine sense of community.

There is something special about spending an entire day surrounded by people who share your passion for rock music.

The battle jackets.

The band T-shirts.

The smell of festival food.

The opening guitar riffs.

The conversations with complete strangers who suddenly become your best mates because you’re both wearing the same obscure rock band’s merchandise.

And, of course, that magical moment when thousands of people sing along to a classic rock anthem.

STONEDEAD captures much of what made the original Monsters Of Rock events so memorable.

It doesn’t need a dozen stages or an enormous list of attractions.

The focus remains firmly on the music.

And judging by another complete sell-out, that’s exactly what its audience wants.

🏕️ Planning Ahead For STONEDEAD 2027

For those lucky enough to have secured tickets, the countdown to August 2027 has already begun.

With the festival taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, it’s worth planning your travel and accommodation well in advance.

Newark Showground is situated near Newark-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire, with access to major road routes.

Festivalgoers should check the official arrangements for parking, camping, access facilities and arrival times before travelling.

Those joining the waiting list should also remember that the availability of arena tickets does not automatically guarantee availability of camping or other additional facilities.

Check the specific ticket type if you receive an offer.

🐉 THE RIFF REPORT Loves Seeing Independent Rock Festivals Succeed!

Here at The Riff Report Blog, we’re passionate about supporting independent festivals and the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make them happen.

Events such as STONEDEAD are hugely important to the future of British rock music.

They provide stages for established artists.

They offer opportunities to emerging musicians.

They support independent photographers, music journalists, traders and local businesses.

And most importantly, they bring rock fans together.

Seeing an independently organised, volunteer-powered festival sell out so far in advance is fantastic news for the wider rock community.

It demonstrates that there is still enormous enthusiasm for live guitar music and the festival experiences that celebrate it.

Long may that continue!

🤘 THE RIFF REPORT VERDICT – STONEDEAD 2027 Is Already A Monster Success!

STONEDEAD FESTIVAL 2027 is sold out, and the bands haven’t even been announced yet!

That alone tells you everything you need to know about the loyalty of its audience.

For an independent festival built around the simple promise of one day, one stage and one monster rock show, this is another outstanding achievement.

The organisers have created something that fans genuinely look forward to every year.

And whether you’re attending for the first time or returning for another August Bank Holiday celebration, Newark Showground promises to be absolutely buzzing.

For those who already have tickets, congratulations – you’re heading to one of Britain’s most beloved independent rock festivals!

For everyone else, there is still hope.

The official STONEDEAD 2027 waiting list is OPEN!

Get your name down, keep an eye on your emails and you might just find yourself joining thousands of other rock fans next August.

ONE DAY. ONE STAGE. ONE MONSTER ROCK SHOW.

ONE COMPLETELY SOLD-OUT FESTIVAL!

Michael

Michael

🎸 About Michael Michael is the founder, editor and chief riff wrangler of The Riff Report, an independent Welsh rock, metal and alternative music publication built by fans, for fans. A lifelong rock and metal fan, Michael has spent years immersed in the music, culture and community that surround the heavier side of life. From discovering new bands and digging through classic albums to standing in muddy festival fields, squeezing into packed venues and spending far too much time near the front of a stage, music has always been much more than background noise — it is a massive part of who he is. That passion eventually became The Riff Report, a publication created to celebrate the bands, artists, venues, festivals, photographers, promoters and fans who keep the rock and metal world turning. Michael spends much of the year covering gigs, festivals, tours, album releases, new singles, interviews and music news, with a camera never too far away and a press pass usually hanging somewhere around his neck. Whether it is a huge arena show, a major outdoor festival or a tiny grassroots venue packed with people discovering their new favourite band, he believes every part of the scene has stories worth telling. For Michael, one of the biggest joys of music journalism is being able to shine a light on artists at every level. The Riff Report is just as interested in the hungry independent band playing to 50 people as it is in the global act headlining to 50,000. Supporting unsigned, independent and grassroots musicians is a huge part of the publication’s identity, because every legendary band started somewhere. Sometimes the next big thing is not on a massive billboard or a major-label playlist — sometimes they are crammed onto a tiny stage in a pub, plugging in their own gear and hoping somebody in the room remembers their name. Michael wants The Riff Report to be one of the places that remembers.
