Sophie Lancaster was attacked in 2007 simply for looking different. For being a goth. For existing outside the mainstream. That fact still hits like a gut punch.
And here we are in 2026, still having to say this:
Looking different is not a crime.
Loving heavy music is not a crime.
Being alternative is not a crime.

Because prejudice doesnโt disappear on its own. It gets dismantled when people stand up and say, โNot in our scene.โ
