Good Things Festival is charging back into Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this December, and the 2026 edition has dropped an absolutely ridiculous lineup headed by none other than Limp Bizkit. 🤘🔥
Yep. Fred Durst and the nu-metal wrecking crew are heading Down Under again — and this time they’re sitting right at the top of the Good Things bill.
Joining them for one of the biggest alternative travelling festival lineups of the year are Simple Plan, Spiritbox, Polaris, The All-American Rejects, Bad Religion, Alexisonfire, Grinspoon, Millencolin, Ministry, Chad Gray, Neck Deep, P.O.D., The Devil Wears Prada and a whole heap more.
Basically, if your wardrobe contains black band shirts and you’ve ever screamed a chorus while spilling a questionable pint over yourself, Good Things 2026 has probably booked something for you.
🎤 LIMP BIZKIT ARE BACK AT GOOD THINGS
Limp Bizkit return to Good Things after appearing at the huge 2023 edition, which became the festival’s biggest year at the time and sold out its Brisbane and Melbourne events. (
Since then, the band’s resurgence has gone completely off the rails.
What was already a huge nostalgic revival has turned into another genuinely massive era for Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto and DJ Lethal.
The band finally headlined Download Festival in the UK in 2026, following their enormously talked-about 2024 appearance, and they’ve continued occupying major festival slots around the world.
Now Australia gets another turn.
Expect riffs.
Expect red caps.
Expect people yelling “ROLLIN’, ROLLIN’, ROLLIN’” like they’ve suddenly been teleported back to Kerrang! TV circa 2001.
And when Break Stuff eventually drops?
Good luck to whichever poor soul is trying to keep hold of their chips.

🇨🇦 SIMPLE PLAN BRING THE POP-PUNK PARTY
If Limp Bizkit are responsible for the chaos, Simple Plan are arriving armed with the enormous singalong choruses.
The Canadian pop-punk favourites remain one of the genre’s most beloved bands, with songs including I’d Do Anything, I’m Just A Kid, Addicted, Perfect, Welcome To My Life and Summer Paradise firmly lodged in several generations of alternative fans’ brains.
They last appeared at Good Things back in 2019, making their 2026 return another cracking bit of business.
If you’ve ever shouted I’m Just A Kid after making a disastrous adult financial decision, congratulations — this one’s for you.
💀 SPIRITBOX REPRESENT THE NEW HEAVY GENERATION
Then there’s Spiritbox.
Courtney LaPlante and company have rapidly become one of modern metal’s biggest forces, blending crushing heaviness, progressive ideas and atmospheric passages into something capable of working equally well in sweaty clubs and enormous festival fields.
Good Things marks another Australian appearance for the band following their previous Down Under performances at Knotfest Australia.
Tracks such as Holy Roller should sound absolutely monstrous blasting across the festival site.
Necks will hurt.
Physios will prosper.

🚨 ALEXISONFIRE ARE PLAYING CRISIS IN FULL
Now we’re talking.
Alexisonfire will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their landmark 2006 album Crisis by playing the record in full.
That means Australian crowds can expect an enormous dose of mid-2000s post-hardcore nostalgia, including favourites such as:

🖤 MINISTRY SAY FAREWELL TO AUSTRALIA
There’ll also be an emotional edge to the weekend as industrial metal legends Ministry play what Good Things is billing as their final Australian performances.
Led by Al Jourgensen, Ministry helped shape industrial metal into the snarling mechanical monster we know today.
For Australian fans, Good Things 2026 therefore isn’t merely another Ministry festival appearance.
It could be goodbye.
That set deserves to be absolutely rammed.
🤘 CHAD GRAY CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF MADNESS
Another particularly tasty inclusion comes courtesy of Chad Gray.
The unmistakable voice behind Mudvayne and HELLYEAH will present “30 Years of Madness”, pulling material from both bands’ catalogues.

The Good Things Festival pre-sale begins Tuesday 18 August 2026 at 10am Australian Eastern Standard Time, with fans required to register for pre-sale access through the festival’s official website.
General ticket sales are scheduled to follow on Thursday 20 August 2026 at 10am AEST.
With Limp Bizkit, Simple Plan, Spiritbox and that ridiculous undercard involved, we wouldn’t exactly recommend spending ticket morning casually making toast while assuming they’ll still be there later.

One detail worth clearing up: Good Things has officially stated that all three 2026 festival dates will be 16+.

You’ve got hardcore.
You’ve got modern metalcore.
You’ve got industrial legends.
You’ve got anniversary album performances.

And sitting on top of the whole thing is Limp Bizkit — a band somehow enjoying one of the biggest live periods of their career decades after nu-metal supposedly wasn’t cool anymore.
