Hold onto your beards, butt — because CROBOT aren’t here to play nice. They’re here to funk up your face, melt your speakers, and drag you through a wormhole of riffs, rhythm, and ridiculous swagger. 😎🔥
Hailing from the mystical land of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, these groove-heavy riff merchants blend classic rock attitude, metallic bite, and psychedelic fuzz into a sound that’s both filthy and fantastic.
They call it “dirty groove rock” — and honestly, that’s exactly what it feels like. 🛸🎸
🎙️ WHO ARE CROBOT?
Formed: 2011, Pennsylvania, USA
Genre: Funked-Up Hard Rock / Stoner Metal / Space Groove
Mission: To keep the funk in the fury and the soul in the sludge.
Current Line-Up:
- 🎤 Brandon Yeagley – Vocals / Harmonica / Human explosion
- 🎸 Chris Bishop – Guitar / Fuzz wizard
- 🥁 Dan Ryan – Drums / Sonic sledgehammer
- 🎸 Tim Peugh – Bass / Low-end chaos
They’re a band that feels like the result of Rage Against The Machine, Clutch, and Soundgarden getting abducted by aliens and jamming on Mars.
Brandon’s voice? A powerhouse howl.
Bishop’s riffs? Filthy, fuzzy, funkified mayhem.
Together, they’ve built one of the most exciting, weirdly wonderful sounds in modern rock.

⚙️ THE SOUND: GROOVE-DRIVEN, COSMIC, & FILTHY
Crobot are what happens when you take Led Zeppelin’s soul, Clutch’s swagger, and Audioslave’s groove, and then throw it in a blender full of cosmic dust, beer foam, and monster riffs. 🍺
Expect:
🎸 Fuzzy, sludgy riffs that stomp like dinosaurs in bell-bottoms
🔥 Basslines that could knock the moon out of orbit
🎤 Vocals that wail, howl, and groove in equal measure
👽 Lyrics about space, snakes, sex, and salvation
Their sound isn’t retro — it’s reincarnated. They bring the funk and filth of the 70s into the modern metalverse with humour, heart, and high-octane groove.
🎭 LIVE SHOWS: SWEAT, SWAGGER & SPACE DUST
Crobot gigs are a party disguised as a rock ritual.
Brandon Yeagley moves like James Brown possessed by an alien overlord — spinning, screaming, and playing the harmonica like it owes him money.
Chris Bishop’s guitar tone sounds like it was forged in a volcano.
And the rhythm section? A freight train of funk.
Expect:
💥 Riffs that shake the floor
🎤 Funky singalongs
🦸♂️ Insane energy
🔥 Brandon doing the splits mid-song because why not
Whether it’s a dive bar or a festival stage, they make every gig feel like a cosmic barbecue hosted by Thor and Bootsy Collins.
🧠 STYLE & AESTHETIC
Crobot’s world is part comic book, part cosmic freak show. Their art, videos, and stage presence all drip with sci-fi weirdness and stoner humour.
They call themselves “Intergalactic Funk Crusaders” — and it fits.
Expect:
🚀 Space helmets and snake gods
🐍 Psychedelic colours and comic-style album covers
🤘 70s soul energy wrapped in modern metal muscle
They’re fun, fearless, and totally unpretentious — a reminder that rock doesn’t always need to be serious to seriously rock.
