Well then, butt โ hereโs one to rattle the fillings and wake up the neighbours.
The Fell have announced their debut UK tour for December 2026, and it looks like Britain is about to get a proper dose of modern rock thunder just in time for the festive season. Forget sleigh bells โ this December, weโre getting bass bombs, crunchy guitars, soaring vocals and enough stage energy to make your Christmas lights flicker in fear.
And yes, for those currently squinting at the name and thinking, โhang on, is that Billy Sheehan?โ โ you are absolutely right, mun.
The Fell features legendary bassist Billy Sheehan, the four-string wizard known for his work with Mr. Big, David Lee Roth and The Winery Dogs. That alone is enough to make rock fans start panic-buying tickets like itโs the last pint token at a festival bar.
Joining him in The Fell are vocalist Toby Rand, guitarist and producer Mike Krompass, and drummer Nick Chiarore โ a line-up built for big choruses, thick riffs and the sort of live show that makes small venues feel like theyโve been hit by a tour bus full of Marshall stacks.
A New Band With Serious Firepower ๐ฅ
The Fell might be a newer name on the UK live circuit, but this is not some quiet little baby band finding its feet in the corner of a pub.
This is a proper rock outfit with serious pedigree behind it.
Billy Sheehan brings that jaw-dropping bass style that has made him one of the most respected players in rock. He doesnโt just play bass โ he wrestles it, launches it into orbit, brings it back down, and then somehow makes it groove like nothing happened.
Mike Krompass brings the songwriting and production muscle, Toby Rand brings the vocal firepower, and Nick Chiarore locks it all down behind the kit. Put them together and youโve got something that feels built for live stages โ loud, sharp, slick, and ready to kick the doors open.
The band released their Killswitch EP in 2025, giving fans a taste of what theyโre about: big modern rock energy, hooks with teeth, and riffs that feel like theyโve been bench-pressing all winter.
Now, theyโre bringing it over here.
Festival Warm-Ups Before The Headline Chaos ๐ช๐ค
Before the headline dates properly kick off, The Fell will make two festival appearances โ and Wales gets a lovely little slice of the action.
Theyโll appear at WinterStorm in Troon on Friday 27th November 2026, before heading to Planet Rockstock at Trecco Bay, Porthcawl on Saturday 28th November 2026.
That Planet Rockstock slot is the big shiny one for us Welsh rock goblins, obviously. Porthcawl in late November? Cold wind, caravan chaos, sea air and Billy Sheehan basslines rumbling through Trecco Bay? Thatโs not a festival booking โ thatโs a weather warning with guitar solos.
Imagine it now: rock fans wrapped up in hoodies, clutching pints, pretending theyโre not freezing while a band absolutely melts the room. Lush. Proper job.

* Festival appearance
Itโs a tidy little run too โ proper club venues, the kind where you can actually feel the kick drum in your chest and see the band sweating under the lights rather than watching a tiny human-shaped dot on a screen from half a postcode away.
Thatโs where bands like this can really shine.
Small Venues, Big Noise ๐
Thereโs something special about seeing musicians of this calibre in venues like Thekla, The 1865, Band on the Wall, Brudenell Social Club and KKโs Steel Mill.
These arenโt sterile arena boxes with overpriced nachos and someone filming the entire show on an iPad. These are proper gig rooms. The floors stick. The air smells like beer, cables and ambition. The crowd is right in the bandโs face. Every riff lands harder.
And with The Fell still carving out their UK identity, this debut tour could be one of those โI saw them before everyone else caught onโ moments.
You know the sort. The gig you brag about later. The one where your mate says, โWere they any good?โ and you just stare at them like theyโve insulted Lemmy.
Why Rock Fans Should Pay Attention ๐
There are loads of bands touring. There are always loads of bands touring. But The Fell stand out because theyโve got that mix of experience and hunger.
Theyโre not leaning purely on nostalgia. Theyโre not just wheeling out famous names for a victory lap. This feels like a band trying to make a proper statement โ new music, new energy, and a live show that should appeal to fans of big melodic rock, hard rock, and classic musicianship with a modern bite.
And letโs be honest, Billy Sheehan on a UK stage is always worth your attention. The man is a bass legend. A certified wizard. A bloke who can probably make a washing machine sound like a prog-metal solo if you give him five minutes and a pedalboard.
But The Fell shouldnโt just be viewed as โBillyโs new thing.โ Thereโs a full band here, and the December run gives UK fans the chance to see what they can do together when the amps are hot and the crowd is ready.
Wales Gets A Big One At Planet Rockstock ๐๐ธ
For The Riff Report crowd, the Planet Rockstock appearance in Porthcawl is the one circled in red marker, surrounded by flames, probably with a little drawing of a dragon wearing sunglasses.
Trecco Bay is already known for bringing rock fans together in that wonderfully British way โ cold weather outside, chaos inside, everyone pretending theyโre โonly having a quiet oneโ before somehow ending up down the front shouting themselves hoarse.
The Fell landing there before their headline dates gives Welsh fans an early chance to catch them before the rest of the UK run kicks in properly.
And we are absolutely here for it.
Riff Report Verdict ๐ค
The Fellโs debut UK tour has all the makings of a cracking winter rock run: legendary musicianship, modern rock punch, intimate venues, festival warm-ups, and a December schedule that gives fans one last big riff-fuelled blowout before Christmas fully takes over.
If you like your rock loud, polished, powerful and played by musicians who know exactly how to command a stage, this is one to keep firmly on the radar.
The Fell are coming to the UK.
The bass will be ridiculous.
The riffs will be massive.
And somewhere in Porthcawl, a caravan door is already vibrating in fear.
Cโmon butt โ December 2026 just got a whole lot louder. ๐ธ๐ฅ
