What’s occurring then? Shinedown — masters of pyro, big riffs and arena-filling choruses — are going all stripped back for a one-night-only acoustic show in London this summer. And guess what, mun? It’s gonna be lush.
When & Where 🗓️
📍 Islington Assembly Hall, London
📅 Tuesday 17 June 2025
That’s right, Brent Smith and six-string wizard Zach Myers are parking the pyro cannons and unplugging for a rare intimate evening. Forget the fireballs, expect goosebumps, singalongs, and maybe even a tear or two when they drop Call Me under candlelight. Tidy vibes only. 🖤
Why This Is A Big Deal 🔥
Shinedown don’t do small. These lads usually roll through with stage sets big enough to land planes on. So an under-1,000 capacity venue? That’s rarer than finding a cold pint at Download after 9pm. Tickets went faster than a bin jousting round at Steelhouse — blink and you missed it.
Brent’s voice + Zach’s harmonies + a London crowd who actually sing in tune = spine-tingling stuff.
The Timing ⏱️
Here’s the kicker: this acoustic night lands right after Shinedown’s set at Download Festival 2025. So if you’re heading from Donington to London, prepare for the comedown of your life — swapping circle pits for candlelit choruses.
And once the guitars are packed away? The band are jetting straight back across the pond for their Dance, Kid, Dance Tour in the States, bringing Beartooth, Bush and Morgan Wade along for the chaos. Proper job. 🇬🇧➡️🇺🇸
What To Expect 🎤
- The hits, unplugged – Second Chance, 45, Sound of Madness
- Deep cuts and fan faves – you just know Zach will sneak in something special
- Story time with Brent – and you know he can chat
- A night you’ll brag about forever – “Yeah, I saw Shinedown in a 1,000-cap venue, no big deal…”
Final Word 🤘
If you were lucky enough to bag a ticket — diolch for repping! Send us your pics, setlists, and “I sobbed during I’ll Follow You” confessions, and we’ll sling them in our Riff Report gallery.
If not? Don’t panic, butt. This might not be the last time the lads strip it back for a UK crowd. Keep your eyes peeled on Shinedown’s socials — and maybe sell a kidney next time tickets drop.
