In one of those rock announcements that makes you immediately start checking flights, hotels and the remaining balance on your credit card, Foo Fighters are officially opening for AC/DC at a very special one-night-only show in St. Louis, Missouri.
Yep.
FOO FIGHTERS. Supporting AC/DC.
Someone has clearly activated the stadium-rock cheat code.
The two absolute giants will collide at The Dome at Americaโs Center on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, as Foo Fighters make a special detour from their own massive touring schedule to join AC/DC.
And for Dave Grohl, this isnโt simply another stadium gig.
Itโs the fulfilment of a dream that started more than four decades ago.
โก Foo Fighters Step In For The Pretty Reckless
Foo Fighters werenโt originally supposed to be on the St. Louis bill.
The Pretty Reckless had been scheduled to support AC/DC, but Foo Fighters have now stepped in for the date, turning an already enormous concert into something bordering on ridiculous.
AC/DC described the appearance as a special one-off detour for Foo Fighters, who are currently out on their own Take Cover global stadium tour.

Now, 46 years later, heโs going to open for them.
