Sunday โ€“ Main Stage โ€“ 1:15pm

If anyone thought Sunday afternoon was going to be a gentle build-up towards the festival finale, LN had other ideas.

At 1:15pm, the Newcastle five-piece stormed onto the Main Stage like a Norse army arriving on the shores of Wales, bringing theatrical flair, crushing riffs and enough Viking metal power to shake the Brecon Beacons.

From the opening moments, it was obvious this wasnโ€™t going to be an ordinary rock set.

This was an epic battle soundtrack.

A celebration of pagan traditions, folk melodies and thunderous heavy metal, delivered with passion, precision and a stage presence that completely captivated the Steelhouse crowd.

โš”๏ธ LN Hirst Led the Charge

Fronted by the commanding LN Hirst, the band looked every inch the part.

Hirstโ€™s performance was nothing short of outstanding, effortlessly switching between soaring clean vocals and savage growls that sent shivers through the mountain air.

One moment the audience were singing along to huge melodic choruses.

The next, they were raising their horns as thunderous growls echoed across the festival site.

It was theatrical without ever feeling forced.

Powerful without losing emotion.

Every song felt like a chapter from an ancient Viking saga.

๐ŸŽธ Folk Melodies Meet Bone-Crushing Metal

LNโ€™s music is far more than simply heavy.

Their use of folk-inspired melodies gave the performance a unique identity that stood out across the entire weekend.

Massive guitar riffs crashed into soaring harmonies while traditional influences added atmosphere and grandeur to every song.

The twin guitar attack was relentless, delivering crushing rhythm work before exploding into soaring solos that had the Steelhouse crowd roaring with approval.

It was melodic.

It was ferocious.

It was absolutely immense.

๐Ÿฅ A Rhythm Section That Hit Like Thorโ€™s Hammer

Behind the front line, the rhythm section was unstoppable.

The bass thundered through every song with incredible weight while the drums drove the performance with relentless precision.

Every beat felt like a war drum calling the Steelhouse faithful into battle.

The entire band played with remarkable chemistry, proving why theyโ€™ve rapidly built a reputation as one of the UKโ€™s most exciting emerging pagan and Viking metal acts.

๐Ÿค˜ The Crowd Answered the Call

Steelhouse fans may be known for their love of classic rock, but LN proved that heavy music has a very welcome home on the mountain.

Before long, circle pits erupted in front of the Main Stage as fans charged around with huge smiles across their faces.

Crowd surfers appeared one after another, sailing above a sea of raised hands while security worked overtime at the barrier.

Horns filled the sky.

Heads banged in unison.

The atmosphere was electric.

Even festival-goers discovering LN for the very first time couldnโ€™t resist joining the chaos.

๐ŸŒ„ A Viking Invasion of the Welsh Mountains

Against the breathtaking backdrop of the Brecon Beacons, LNโ€™s epic sound felt perfectly at home.

Their theatrical performance, dramatic songwriting and towering sound transformed the Steelhouse stage into something resembling a battlefield from Norse mythology.

It wasnโ€™t just a concert.

It was an experience.

One filled with storytelling, emotion and enough heavy riffs to wake every dragon sleeping beneath the Welsh hills.

๐Ÿ”ฅ One of Sundayโ€™s Biggest Surprises

For many in attendance, LN were one of the weekendโ€™s biggest discoveries.

Their confidence, originality and outstanding musicianship turned an early afternoon slot into one of the festivalโ€™s most talked-about performances.

They didnโ€™t simply play songs.

They created a world and invited the Steelhouse crowd into it.

Judging by the reaction, everyone happily accepted the invitation.

๐ŸŽช A Band Destined for Bigger Festival Slots

As the final song came crashing to an end, the applause was deafening.

Fans who had arrived out of curiosity left as genuine supporters.

LN proved they have everything needed to become one of the UKโ€™s standout names in modern metal.

With unforgettable stage presence, incredible musicianship and songs that blend power with atmosphere, theyโ€™re a band whose future looks incredibly bright.

๐Ÿป The Riff Report Verdict

LN delivered one of the most unique performances of Steelhouse Festival 2026.

Combining Viking metal, pagan influences, folk melodies and crushing modern heaviness, they created a theatrical spectacle that thrilled both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

LN Hirstโ€™s outstanding vocal performance, backed by a phenomenal band, transformed Sunday afternoon into a full-scale Norse celebration.

Throw in circle pits, crowd surfers and one of the loudest crowds of the day, and you had a performance worthy of Valhalla itself.

โ€œLN didnโ€™t just performโ€”they invaded Steelhouse like a Viking army armed with riffs instead of axes.
