As the final riffs fade across the Welsh mountains and thousands of rock fans begin the journey home, thereโs one thing that simply has to be saidโฆ
Thank you.
Another year of Steelhouse Festival has come and gone, and once again it proved exactly why itโs one of the most loved rock festivals anywhere in the UK. From the incredible performances on stage to the unforgettable atmosphere around the campsite, Steelhouse XV was everything we hoped it would beโand more.
First and foremost, a massive thank you to Max Rhead and Mikey Evans. Organising a festival of this size is no easy task, but year after year they continue to deliver an event that feels less like a festival and more like a family reunion for the rock community.
Every detail, every band, every stage, every smiling face around the site is a reflection of the passion and dedication that goes into making Steelhouse such a special place. It takes months of planning, countless hours of hard work and a genuine love of live music to create something this magical.
But Steelhouse isnโt built by two people alone.
A huge shout-out also goes to every single volunteer who gives up their time to help make the festival happen. Whether you were directing traffic, checking wristbands, helping campers, serving behind the bars, keeping the site clean, working security, providing medical support or helping behind the scenes, you are the heartbeat of Steelhouse Festival.
Most festival-goers only see the finished product, but behind every unforgettable weekend is an army of hardworking people making sure everything runs smoothly. Your commitment, kindness and enthusiasm never go unnoticed, and the rock community appreciates every single one of you.
Steelhouse has always been about more than just the bands. Itโs about community. Itโs about friends becoming family, strangers sharing beers, discovering new music, watching the sun set over the Welsh mountains and creating memories that last long after the tents have come down.
Thatโs something truly specialโand itโs something that canโt be bought.
From all of us here at The Riff Report, thank you to Max, Mikey, every volunteer, every member of staff, every trader, every crew member and every single person who helped make Steelhouse Festival XV another unforgettable chapter in the festivalโs incredible history.
And finallyโฆ
Thank you to every single rock fan who climbed the mountain, sang every chorus, supported every band, respected the site and helped create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Steelhouse unlike any other festival.
Safe travels home, look after yourselves, and weโll see you all back on the mountain next year for another weekend of unforgettable riffs, incredible people and memories that will last a lifetime.
Diolch yn fawr, Steelhouse. Youโve done it again. ๐ค๐๏ธ๐ฅ
Proudly Welsh. Proudly Loud.
