Who says you have to wait until you’ve finished school to chase your dreams?
While most teenagers are buried under revision guides, stressing over GCSEs and wondering what comes next, three young musicians from Swansea are busy doing something a little louder. They’re writing songs, playing gigs and building a reputation as one of the most exciting young bands to emerge from the Welsh music scene.
Say hello to The Undersiders – a talented indie rock trio who are proving that passion, determination and a love of music can take you a long way, no matter your age.
And this Friday, they’re inviting everyone to celebrate a huge milestone.
🎶 Hear Their Brand-New Single Before Anyone Else
The Undersiders are officially releasing their brand-new song this Friday, but fans have the chance to hear it a whole week before its official release at a special launch event held at Hangar 18 Music Venue.
Even better?
The event is completely FREE.
If you’re looking for an excuse to support the next generation of Welsh rock talent, this is it. Get yourself down to Hangar 18, soak up the atmosphere and be among the very first people to hear what these young musicians have been working so hard on.
🎤 Meet The Band
The Undersiders are made up of three friends who have already built an impressive musical journey together.
🎸 Mostyn Evans – Guitar & Lead Vocals
🎸 Tyler Thomas – Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals
🥁 Corey Adams – Drums
Despite all being just 15 years old, the band already boasts four years of experience, performing together since they were children and developing into a tight, energetic live act that’s winning over audiences wherever they play.
That’s serious dedication.
🌟 Big Stages, Big Ambitions
Age clearly isn’t holding these lads back.
The Undersiders have already performed at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Symphony Hall, achievements many musicians spend a lifetime hoping to reach.
Those experiences have helped shape a confident live band that’s comfortable performing in front of crowds while continuing to write and release original music.
Now they’re ready to take the next step.
🎸 Flying the Flag for Swansea
Wales has produced some incredible rock talent over the years, and The Undersiders are hoping to add their name to that growing list.
Their indie rock sound, youthful energy and genuine love of performing make them a band well worth keeping an eye on as they continue their journey.
Every successful band starts somewhere, and grassroots venues like Hangar 18 remain absolutely vital in giving young musicians the opportunity to perform, grow and build a fanbase.
Supporting local music doesn’t just help one band—it helps keep the entire scene alive.
