Stockport, brace yourselves — Firevolt Rock Festival just dropped the news we’ve all been waiting for: the Battle of the Bands 2026 is officially ON! 🎸⚡
Every year, Firevolt throws open its gates to the raw, the wild, and the wonderfully loud — giving up-and-coming acts a shot at glory on one of the UK’s most exciting independent rock stages. And now, it’s time for a new generation of noise-makers to step up and claim their place in Firevolt history.
💥 WHAT’S OCCURRING?
The legendary Battle of the Bands will see unsigned and independent bands from across the country fight it out riff-for-riff, solo-for-solo, and scream-for-scream. Expect sweat, feedback, and probably a few broken drumsticks. 🥁

We’ve seen acts start on a side stage and end up closing out Saturday night under a sky full of fireworks — that’s the magic of Firevolt, mun. 🌌
