By The Riff Report Blog – powered by riffs, rage, and a bucket of chips
C’mon butt, IT’S NEARLY TIME! The sacred gates of Catton Park are creaking open once again, ready to unleash absolute carnage in the name of METAL 🤘 Whether you’re a seasoned Bloodstock warrior or a first-time mud maiden, the countdown is ON – and we’re buzzing like a Marshall stack with dodgy wiring ⚡
⏳ HOW LONG ‘TIL BLOODSTOCK?
At the time of writing this beast of a blog, we’ve got just [insert number of days here] days ‘til Bloodstock 2025 kicks off in glorious, riff-soaked fury. That’s only a few sleeps away from:
🥁 Wall of death warm-ups
🥁 Face-melting solos
🥁 Beer, sweat, fire, and screaming
So if your tent’s still in the attic and your boots are still clean, WHAT ARE YOU DOING MUN?! Sort it. Now.
🧨 THE 2025 LINE-UP IS PURE FILTH
This year’s line-up is like a punch to the jaw… in a loving, consensual metal way. Feast your eyes (and eventually ears) on THIS monstrous roster:
🎸 GOJIRA – The French lords of groove-heavy chaos are headlining Friday and probably summoning ancient whales while they’re at it.
⚔️ KREATOR – Saturday night is THRASH NIGHT, baby. Expect leather, speed, and more windmilling than your dad at a wedding disco.
🐘 MASTODON – Sunday brings the sludge titans to flatten us all with sonic fury. Heavy, weird, and utterly beautiful.
PLUS a filthy undercard packed with:
🦴 Septicflesh
🪓 Malevolence
🩸 Gatecreeper
⚰️ Green Lung
🪦 Urne
And that’s not even scratching the surface of the New Blood and Sophie stages – where future headliners are forged in beer and blast beats.
🎟️ BLOODSTOCK TICKETS – DON’T BE A MUCKY PUP
Still not got your ticket? WHAT’S OCCURRING?! This ain’t the time for faffing about. Prices are reasonable, the vibes are unbeatable, and the music will haunt your soul (in the best way).
🎟️ Grab yours here: https://www.bloodstock.uk.com
VIP camping, standard camping, campervans, day tickets – whatever your flavour, get it sorted before your mates leave you behind eating Pot Noodles on your nan’s sofa.
🏕️ FESTIVAL SURVIVAL GUIDE – BLOODSTOCK EDITION
You can’t mosh if your boots fall apart or your tent collapses in a light breeze. Here’s what you need:
✅ A tent that doesn’t scream “help me”
✅ Proper boots – white trainers are for fools
✅ Battle vest, patched with pride
✅ Wet wipes (your best mate by Sunday)
✅ A sturdy flag so your mates can find you
✅ More water than you think you need
✅ Earplugs – for the snorers, not the riffs
✅ TINNED BEANS OF DOOM
Also, study your pit etiquette:
If someone goes down, you PICK ‘EM UP. That’s the rule. That’s the law. That’s metal 🤝
🧙♂️ WHY BLOODSTOCK IS THE BEST FESTIVAL IN THE UK (YEAH, WE SAID IT)
Let’s be real for a sec: Bloodstock isn’t just a festival. It’s a community of riff-worshipping maniacs, united by black shirts, loud guitars, and an unspoken agreement to lose our minds together.
No TikTok influencers pouting in the mud.
No overpriced falafel platters with quinoa sprinkles.
Just mosh pits, metalheads, and more headbanging than a Saturday night in Merthyr. 🤘
It’s a festival where everyone’s welcome, unless you’re a bellend – in which case, you’ll be gently but firmly moshed back into the car park.
📣 THE RIFF REPORT WILL BE THERE!
We’ll be marching through the arena with a cider in one hand and a notebook in the other – documenting every breakdown, pyro blast, and dodgy queue for the bogs.
Expect:
🔥 Full band reviews
🔥 Food stall chaos
🔥 Worst hangovers ranked
🔥 Camp tales from hell
🔥 All the blood, sweat and beers
🔥 At least one person falling into a portaloo (again)
So keep an eye on the blog and our socials for updates as we descend into the darkness.
