🎤 From Tea-Boy to Rock Royalty – This Address Has History
Let’s break it down, butt. This isn’t just some random postcode Yungblud’s claimed for the hell of it. Nah, this place is sacred.
📍 20 Denmark Street was once home to Mills Music – the office where a young Elton John (yes, that Elton John) worked as a humble tea boy back in the ’60s. Long before the feathers and pianos, he was literally fetching the cuppas.
🎸 More recently, the spot was home to Wunjo Guitars, one of London’s most beloved guitar shops, where every wannabe Jimmy Page or Johnny Marr has spent hours drooling over six-strings since 2001. Wunjo’s just moved a few doors down… and now the torch is being passed.
And who better to pick it up than Dom himself?
🖤 “I WANT PEOPLE TO HANG OUT, MEET, AND MAKE REAL CONNECTIONS”
In his own words, Yungblud isn’t just opening a gig venue or pop-up merch stall. This is about something bigger.
“I want people to hang out, meet and have a physical space to make real connections in this virtual world.”
Translation? He’s creating a haven. A misfit palace. A DIY sanctuary where emos, punks, queers, rebels, alt-kids, and straight-up weirdos can just be.
