The death-pop troublemakers are back with a new lyric video, a monster North American tour alongside Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson, Sick New World Texas and a UK invasion featuring Skindred, Alien Ant Farm and Spineshank.

Some bands mellow with age.

ORGY clearly didn’t get that memo. 😈

The multi-platinum Los Angeles outfit are continuing to drag their unmistakable cocktail of industrial rock, nu-metal, goth, electronics and what they’ve long dubbed “death pop” into the modern era with their latest single, “Dangerous Lyfe.”

And with the track gathering momentum, ORGY are about to give it another almighty shove.

A companion lyric video for “Dangerous Lyfe” is set to arrive on Friday, 21 August 2026 at 8am Pacific Time, landing right as the band embark on a ridiculously busy run of shows stretching from North America all the way to the UK.

And yes, British ORGY fans — they’re coming our way.

Proper job. 🤘🇬🇧

🎬 “Dangerous Lyfe” Gets The Lyric Video Treatment

Longtime ORGY fan Kim Woo created the new “Dangerous Lyfe” lyric video, giving the band’s latest slice of electronic darkness its own visual companion.

The single, released through D1 Music, has already been making some serious noise.

“Dangerous Lyfe” has been climbing the Metal Contraband and Mediabase charts, while also entering rotation on SiriusXM Octane.

Perhaps even more interesting is the attention ORGY are receiving from a younger audience through the NACC — North American College & Community Radio Chart.

For a band whose roots stretch all the way back to the late ‘90s explosion of industrial rock, goth and nu-metal, that’s a pretty impressive indication that ORGY’s particular brand of weirdness still has plenty of life left in it.

And let’s face it — alternative music has spent the last few years rediscovering baggy trousers, downtuned guitars, eyeliner and everything remotely Y2K.

ORGY were basically waiting for everyone else to catch back up. 😂

🔥 Death Pop Is Still Alive And Kicking

“Dangerous Lyfe” doesn’t attempt to turn ORGY into something they’re not.

Instead, it continues the band’s constantly evolving mixture of provocative lyrics, heavy guitars, electronic textures, rich synthesizers, huge choruses and flashes of rock-rap attitude.

It’s difficult to shove neatly into one genre box.

But that’s rather the point.

You hear ORGY and you generally know it’s ORGY.

The track saw the band working with producer Hiram Hernandez, who arranged and mixed “Dangerous Lyfe” at Earthsays Studio.

Hernandez’s previous production and mixing credits include work involving artists such as As I Lay Dying, Scary Kids Scaring Kids and Eyes Set To Kill, making him a pretty tasty fit for ORGY’s collision of heavy and electronic sounds.

💿 From “Candyass” To “Dangerous Lyfe”

For anyone who survived the late ’90s alternative scene with their wallet chain intact, ORGY need very little introduction.

The band emerged from Los Angeles during a period when goth aesthetics, industrial electronics, alternative metal and nu-metal were colliding spectacularly.

Their debut album “Candyass” arrived in 1998 and became a platinum-selling success.

The record featured “Stitches”, but it was ORGY’s futuristic reworking of New Order’s “Blue Monday” that became their defining breakthrough.

Rather than simply copying the original, ORGY dragged the song through flashing neon lights, distorted guitars and industrial machinery before throwing the result directly onto late-’90s alternative radio.

It became massive.

The success helped establish ORGY as one of the most distinctive acts orbiting the rapidly expanding nu-metal and industrial-rock scenes.

Then came “Vapor Transmission” in 2000.

Its single “Fiction (Dreams in Digital)” reached No. 6 on Billboard’s Alternative chart, while “Opticon” also made its mark.

ORGY had successfully created their own little corner of alternative music.

Part goth club.

Part metal gig.

Part futuristic nightclub that probably wouldn’t let you through the door unless you were wearing PVC trousers and enough eyeliner to frighten your nan.

Beautiful stuff. 😈

🎤 ORGY In 2026

Founding vocalist Jay Gordon remains at the centre of the madness.

The current ORGY line-up features:

  • 🎤 Jay Gordon — Vocals
  • 🎸 Carlton Bost — Guitar
  • 🎸 Ilia Yordanov — Guitar
  • 🎸 Nic Speck — Bass
  • 🥁 Tommy “The Villain” Rockoff — Drums
  • 🎹 Joey Scream — Keys

Gordon, Bost, Speck and Scream have formed the band’s long-running core since 2011, with ORGY continuing to evolve without abandoning the electronic menace that made them stand apart in the first place.

And they’re certainly not spending 2026 sitting around admiring their old platinum records.

The touring diary is absolutely bonkers.

🧟 ORGY Hit The Road With Rob Zombie & Marilyn Manson

ORGY’s late-summer North American schedule puts them alongside two artists who couldn’t be much better suited to the occasion:

Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson.

That’s less a concert bill and more like someone opened the gates to a goth theme park after midnight. 😂🔥

The run begins on 21 August in Tampa, Florida, before tearing across the United States and Canada through September.

🇺🇸 ORGY — August & September 2026

21 August — MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre — Tampa, Florida*

* With Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson

And then things get even more interesting.

💀 Sick New World Texas 2026

On 24 October, ORGY head to Fort Worth, Texas for Sick New World Texas 2026.

Given the renewed appetite for nu-metal, industrial metal, goth and the heavier corners of alternative music, ORGY appearing at Sick New World feels ridiculously appropriate.

But immediately afterwards, they’re packing the industrial-strength eyeliner and heading across the Atlantic.

Next stop: Blighty. 🇬🇧

🇬🇧🔥 ORGY Are Coming To The UK

Now we’re talking, butt.

ORGY’s UK adventure begins on 27 October in Glasgow, followed by shows in Newcastle and Bradford before they join an absolutely outrageous collection of bands.

We’re talking:

SKINDRED.

ALIEN ANT FARM.

SPINESHANK.

And ORGY.

That’s enough early-2000s alternative-metal energy to make your old Kerrang! CDs spontaneously eject themselves from the cupboard.

And having Skindred involved means we’re practically guaranteed carnage.

Welsh carnage, naturally.

🏴🤘 YESS MUN!

Then ORGY return stateside for another show on 11 December at The Whisky in West Hollywood, California.

🤯 Just Look At Those UK Bills

There’s a proper nostalgia bomb hidden inside those dates.

ORGY. Spineshank. Alien Ant Farm. Skindred. Soil. Finger Eleven. Adema.

If you were discovering heavy music around the turn of the millennium, there’s a fair chance at least one of those names was scribbled onto a burned CD-R somewhere in your bedroom.

But dismissing these shows as simple nostalgia would be doing the bands a disservice.

Skindred remain one of Britain’s most ferocious live bands.

Alien Ant Farm continue to draw enormous reactions.

And ORGY are actively pushing forward with new material rather than simply touring the songs everybody remembers from 1998.

That’s what makes “Dangerous Lyfe” important.

It’s another reminder that ORGY aren’t interested in becoming a museum exhibit for the nu-metal generation.

🔥 Nu-Metal’s Second Life

The wider timing couldn’t be much better either.

Nu-metal has undergone one hell of a revival.

A younger generation has discovered the bands, fashion, sounds and aesthetics that dominated alternative music around the late ’90s and early 2000s.

Suddenly the stuff that was once dismissed as uncool is filling festivals again.

And ORGY’s music occupies a particularly interesting part of that history.

They never sounded exactly like Korn.

They weren’t Limp Bizkit.

They weren’t trying to be Slipknot.

Instead, ORGY mixed industrial electronics, goth imagery, alternative metal and pop hooks into something altogether more futuristic.

Calling it death pop made about as much sense as anything else.

Nearly three decades later, that weirdness may actually be helping ORGY connect with listeners discovering the band for the first time.

🎬 “Dangerous Lyfe” Arrives 21 August

The official lyric video for “Dangerous Lyfe” arrives Friday, 21 August 2026 at 8am Pacific Time, adding another chapter to what’s shaping up to be a seriously busy period for ORGY.

Between the new single gaining radio traction, touring alongside Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson, an appearance at Sick New World Texas, and a UK run featuring some absolute titans of alternative rock and metal, ORGY are making damn sure 2026 doesn’t quietly pass them by.

Nearly 30 years after “Candyass” first introduced the world to their neon-lit death-pop universe, Jay Gordon and company are still twisting electronics, metal and alternative music into whatever shape they bloody well fancy.

And frankly?

We wouldn’t want ORGY behaving themselves anyway. 😈🤘

So dust off the eyeliner, find those enormous trousers you definitely swore you’d thrown away and prepare yourself.

Death pop is alive. Nu-metal refuses to die. And ORGY are heading back to Britain.

🔥🤘 Tidy.

Michael

🎸 About Michael Michael is the founder, editor and chief riff wrangler of The Riff Report, an independent Welsh rock, metal and alternative music publication built by fans, for fans. A lifelong rock and metal fan, Michael has spent years immersed in the music, culture and community that surround the heavier side of life. From discovering new bands and digging through classic albums to standing in muddy festival fields, squeezing into packed venues and spending far too much time near the front of a stage, music has always been much more than background noise — it is a massive part of who he is. That passion eventually became The Riff Report, a publication created to celebrate the bands, artists, venues, festivals, photographers, promoters and fans who keep the rock and metal world turning. Michael spends much of the year covering gigs, festivals, tours, album releases, new singles, interviews and music news, with a camera never too far away and a press pass usually hanging somewhere around his neck. Whether it is a huge arena show, a major outdoor festival or a tiny grassroots venue packed with people discovering their new favourite band, he believes every part of the scene has stories worth telling. For Michael, one of the biggest joys of music journalism is being able to shine a light on artists at every level. The Riff Report is just as interested in the hungry independent band playing to 50 people as it is in the global act headlining to 50,000. Supporting unsigned, independent and grassroots musicians is a huge part of the publication’s identity, because every legendary band started somewhere. Sometimes the next big thing is not on a massive billboard or a major-label playlist — sometimes they are crammed onto a tiny stage in a pub, plugging in their own gear and hoping somebody in the room remembers their name. Michael wants The Riff Report to be one of the places that remembers.
