Friday โ Main Stage โ 8:00pm
As daylight slowly began to fade over the Brecon Beacons and the anticipation for Friday nightโs headline acts reached fever pitch, Hollow Souls stepped onto the Steelhouse Festival 2026 Main Stage with one goal in mindโฆ
To prove they belonged.
By the time they walked off an hour later, there wasnโt a single doubt left.
The band delivered a stunning performance packed with crushing riffs, soaring melodies and enough energy to keep the mountain bouncing from the first note to the last. In front of one of Fridayโs biggest crowds so far, Hollow Souls didnโt look like newcomers sharing a bill with rock royaltyโthey looked like they belonged there.
๐ค A Frontman Who Had the Crowd Eating Out of His Hand
From the opening moments, the bandโs vocalist was absolutely outstanding.
His voice carried effortlessly across the Steelhouse site, switching seamlessly between powerful rock vocals and emotional melodic passages without ever losing intensity. Every chorus seemed bigger than the last, and his connection with the audience was instant.
Whether encouraging the crowd to clap along, sing every word back or simply throw their fists into the air, he never stopped engaging with the thousands gathered in front of the Main Stage.
You could tell he was loving every second.
The feeling was mutual.
๐ธ Riffs That Hit Like a Sledgehammer
Hollow Souls brought exactly the sort of guitar sound Steelhouse crowds adore.
Huge, chunky riffs rolled across the mountain while soaring lead guitar lines added another layer of excitement to every song.
The twin-guitar work was tight, melodic and wonderfully aggressive when it needed to be, producing several moments that had the audience reaching for imaginary guitars as solo after solo lit up the evening.
The balance between heaviness and melody was spot on.
๐ฅ Locked In from Start to Finish
Behind the front line, the rhythm section was immense.
The bass gave every song serious weight, while the drummer drove the performance with relentless power and precision, never allowing the energy levels to dip.
Every member of the band looked completely in sync, smiling at one another between songs and feeding off the atmosphere pouring back from the crowd.
It was obvious they werenโt just playing a festival.
They were living the moment.
๐ค The Steelhouse Crowd Fully Bought In
Friday evenings at Steelhouse have a special atmosphere.
The campsite has emptied into the arena.
The bars are buzzing.
The Welsh mountain is alive with thousands of rock fans ready for a huge night.
Hollow Souls embraced every second of it.
As the set gathered momentum, so did the audience.
Hands were in the air.
Heads were banging.
Voices grew louder with every chorus, and by the closing songs the crowd felt completely united behind the band.
For many watching, this was their first Hollow Souls experience.
It certainly wonโt be their last.
๐ Made for Festival Stages
Some bands take a while to settle into large festival stages.
Hollow Souls looked comfortable from the very first song.
They made excellent use of the entire stage, constantly moving, encouraging the audience and making sure every section of the crowd felt involved.
Against the backdrop of the Welsh mountains, their modern rock sound felt enormous, filling every corner of the Steelhouse site.
It was one of those performances that reminded everyone why discovering new bands is one of the greatest joys of festivals.

By the end of the set, plenty of fans were already talking about when theyโd be back.
Thatโs one of the biggest compliments a festival crowd can give.
