Enterprise Earth are back, and they’ve apparently decided that subtlety can bugger off for the afternoon.
The American deathcore wrecking crew have unleashed their brand-new single “Neo-Promethean”, accompanied by an official music video and arriving just weeks before the band head across Europe and the UK for a sizeable run of shows.
Clocking in at more than five-and-a-half minutes, “Neo-Promethean” marks Enterprise Earth’s first fresh material of 2026, following their Descent Into Madness EP in 2025.
And with guitarist Gabe Mangold handling production on the track, this is very much Enterprise Earth taking matters into their own hands.
New music.
A massive European tour approaching.
And enough riffage to rearrange the furniture without actually touching it.
That’ll do nicely. 🤘🔥
💀 Enterprise Earth Are Back
Enterprise Earth have spent the last decade establishing themselves as one of the more adventurous names operating within modern deathcore.
Formed in 2014, the band emerged during a period when deathcore was rapidly evolving beyond its original blueprint.
Enterprise Earth embraced that evolution.
Yes, there are breakdowns capable of reducing perfectly respectable venues to piles of structural paperwork.
Yes, there are monstrous vocals.
Yes, things occasionally sound like the apocalypse has remembered it left the oven on.
But Enterprise Earth have consistently pushed beyond the simplest interpretation of deathcore, incorporating elements of technical death metal, progressive metal, melody and increasingly ambitious songwriting into their material.
That willingness to experiment became particularly apparent on albums including The Chosen and 2024’s Death: An Anthology, with the latter pushing the band’s sound into some seriously expansive territory.
Now “Neo-Promethean” opens another door.
And something rather large appears to be standing behind it.
🔥 “Neo-Promethean”
At 5 minutes and 32 seconds, “Neo-Promethean” has plenty of room to stretch its legs.
And that’s important with Enterprise Earth.
This isn’t simply a band interested in getting from breakdown A to breakdown B as quickly as humanly possible.
Their music increasingly thrives on movement.
Heavy passages collide with technical guitar work, rhythmic shifts and more atmospheric moments, allowing the brutality to hit considerably harder when everything comes crashing back down.
“Neo-Promethean” continues that progressive approach while retaining the sheer physical heaviness expected from the Enterprise Earth name.
There’s plenty going on.
Big riffs.
Ferocious percussion.
Vocal brutality.
Technical flourishes.
And the sort of crushing low-end assault that makes headphones feel considerably more dangerous than they did five minutes earlier.
But underneath all that aggression is a band continuing to explore exactly how far its sound can be stretched.
Enterprise Earth aren’t interested in remaining trapped inside a neat little deathcore box.
They’re far too busy kicking holes through the sides.
🎸 Gabe Mangold Takes Control
One particularly interesting detail surrounding “Neo-Promethean” is the level of creative control sitting within the band itself.
Guitarist Gabe Mangold produced the new single, keeping a major part of the recording process firmly inside the Enterprise Earth camp.
Mangold has become an increasingly important component of the band’s musical identity, with his guitar work helping push Enterprise Earth beyond straightforward genre conventions.
“Neo-Promethean” continues that approach.
Rather than simply stacking heaviness on top of heaviness until somebody’s speakers surrender, the track allows musicianship and dynamics to play an important role alongside the brutality.
Because being ridiculously heavy is lovely.
Being ridiculously heavy and interesting is even better.
🎬 “Neo-Promethean” Gets An Official Music Video
Enterprise Earth haven’t simply chucked the song onto streaming platforms and wandered off for a cuppa either.
“Neo-Promethean” arrives alongside an official music video, giving the band’s first new material of 2026 a proper visual introduction.
It’s another statement that Enterprise Earth are moving forward following their recent run of releases rather than disappearing into the studio wilderness.
And the timing certainly isn’t accidental.
Because this lot are about to spend a considerable amount of time on the road.
💿 Following Death: An Anthology
The new single arrives a little over two years after Enterprise Earth released their fifth studio album, Death: An Anthology, in February 2024.
That record represented another significant evolutionary step for the band.
Rather than treating deathcore as a rigid set of rules, Enterprise Earth pulled influences from across the heavier end of the musical spectrum, creating an album capable of moving between outright brutality and considerably more ambitious territory.
Tracks including “Casket Of Rust”, “The Reaper’s Servant” and “Blood And Teeth” demonstrated a band becoming increasingly comfortable with expanding its musical vocabulary.
Enterprise Earth followed that album with the Descent Into Madness EP in 2025.
Now “Neo-Promethean” becomes the next piece of the puzzle.
Whether that puzzle eventually turns into another full-length album remains to be seen.
But there’s clearly life stirring in the Enterprise Earth camp again.
🤘 Enterprise Earth Hit The UK
British fans won’t have to wait long to experience Enterprise Earth in the flesh either.
The band are heading across Europe and the UK supporting Humanity’s Last Breath and Vildhjarta, with the tour beginning later this month.
And there’s a healthy run of UK dates buried in there.

The wider European run kicks off in Berlin on 25 September and continues through Germany, Czechia, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland before wrapping up in Stockholm on 25 October.

That’s not a gig.

⚡ What Comes Next?
Now comes the interesting question.
Is “Neo-Promethean” the beginning of Enterprise Earth’s next album cycle?
At the moment, the band haven’t revealed a new full-length record alongside the single.
So we’re not going to start inventing album titles or release dates after three cans of energy drink and an overactive imagination.
But fresh standalone material arriving immediately before a major European and UK tour certainly gives Enterprise Earth fans something to chew on.
Their last full-length record landed in 2024.
The Descent Into Madness EP followed in 2025.
Now we’ve got “Neo-Promethean” in 2026.
Whatever comes next, the machinery is clearly moving.
And we’re keeping an eye on it.

There’s a reason Enterprise Earth have become such an interesting proposition within modern deathcore.
They can absolutely flatten you.
That’s never been in doubt.
But there’s considerably more happening underneath the bonnet.
Enterprise Earth belong to that increasingly exciting generation of extreme metal bands who seem completely uninterested in arguing about what they’re technically “allowed” to put into deathcore.
Progressive ideas?
Chuck them in.
Technical riffs?
Absolutely.
Melody?
Why the hell not?
A breakdown capable of turning a perfectly peaceful crowd into 400 people attempting amateur demolition?
Obviously.
“Neo-Promethean” feels like another extension of that mentality.
It’s big, aggressive and ambitious, but crucially it doesn’t sound like a band simply running through the deathcore instruction manual.
And with Gabe Mangold taking care of production himself, there’s an appealing DIY streak running through this latest chapter too.
What “Neo-Promethean” ultimately leads towards remains unanswered.
Another album?
More standalone singles?
Something completely unexpected?
We’ll find out.
For now, Enterprise Earth are back with fresh material, they’re heading for the UK in October, and they’ve given the deathcore faithful another five-and-a-half minutes of glorious sonic violence to chuck themselves around to.
