Songbook: Quo – Past, Present, Future 🤘🔥
Alright butt, steady the pint — British rock royalty is back on the road 🇬🇧🎶
Francis Rossi, the engine room, riff machine and eternal boogie wizard of Status Quo, has officially announced a massive 30-date UK tour for autumn 2026, bringing his beloved Songbook: Quo – Past, Present, Future show to venues across the country.
And no, this isn’t a wall-of-Marshall-stacks, denim-flapping, amp-on-11 Quo knees-up — this is something different. This is Rossi unplugged, unfiltered, and in full storyteller mode. 🎸🖤
🎤 WHAT IS SONGBOOK: QUO – PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE?
Think of this tour as rock ’n’ roll around the campfire — if the campfire had spent six decades selling out arenas.
The Songbook shows strip Status Quo classics right back to their bones. Acoustic guitars. Honest vocals. No hiding. Rossi guides the audience through:
- The early days — when Quo were young, skint, and learning the ropes
- The glory years — boogie riffs, relentless touring, and chart domination
- The present — reflective, grateful, and still buzzing for music
Between the songs come stories you won’t hear anywhere else — moments of chaos, laughter, loss, and life lived permanently on the road. It’s part gig, part autobiography, part pub chat with one of the most important figures in British rock history 🍺🎶
🎵 STATUS QUO… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW THEM
If you’ve seen a Songbook show before, you’ll know exactly why fans keep coming back. If you haven’t — prepare yourself.
Classic Quo songs are reworked acoustically, letting lyrics and melodies breathe in ways you’ve probably never heard before. Familiar riffs hit differently. Choruses land harder. Sometimes the room goes so quiet you could hear a beer mat drop.
And here’s the thing — these songs still stand up. Strip away the amps and they’re still absolute monsters. Proof, if any was needed, that Status Quo’s catalogue is built like a brick wall 💪🎸

❤️ WHY THIS TOUR REALLY MATTERS
Let’s be honest, mun — legends don’t tour forever.
Every chance to see Francis Rossi in this kind of intimate, stripped-back setting feels special. This isn’t nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake. It’s about legacy, reflection, and sharing stories while the man’s still out there doing it on his own terms.
There’s warmth to these shows. Humour. Honesty. And moments that remind you just how much of British rock history Rossi has helped write — not from a pedestal, but from the stage, night after night, for decades 📖🎸
🤘 THE RIFF REPORT VERDICT
If you’ve ever:
- Owned a Quo vinyl
- Burnt out a cassette in an old Ford
- Shouted “DOWN DOWN!” three pints deep
- Or just appreciate proper British rock craftsmanship
Then this tour is absolutely for you, butt.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on ticket announcements and tour dates — and trust us when we say this:
Don’t sleep on this one.
🔥 Long live the boogie. Long live Rossi. 🔥
Proudly British. Loud as ever.
