🎶 Setlist – LOVE, LIGHT & SONG (What we think he’ll play)
Now, Stevie’s not one to keep it the same every night, but expect some absolute classics like:
- Superstition (You know this one’s closing the show 🔮)
- Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours
- Sir Duke
- Isn’t She Lovely
- I Just Called to Say I Love You
- Living for the City
- Master Blaster (Jammin’)
- You Are the Sunshine of My Life
…and maybe a surprise collab or two, given the buzz 👀
🎤 Support Acts
Not officially confirmed yet, but heavy rumours around:
- Arlo Parks – bringing the soulful indie vibes
- Celeste – if true, we’re talking vocal perfection 🔥
- And there’s whisperings of a Welsh choir cameo (Only in Wales, mun…)
🚗 Road Closures & Traffic Chaos Incoming
Yep, Cardiff’s gonna be busier than a Greggs during halftime.
Likely closures (from around 15:00):
- North Road (A470) – expect delays or diversions
- Corbett Road & Park Place – for event traffic and access
- Pontcanna Fields car park – strictly pre-booked only
If you’re driving… maybe don’t 😅 Take the train or bus if you can. Tidy.
🅿️ Parking Info
🚫 No parking at the venue unless you’re booked for access needs
✅ Sofia Gardens, NCP Greyfriars, or St David’s 2 car parks nearby
🚶 Plan for a 15–25 min walk from city centre – comfy shoes recommended!
For accessible parking, email organisers early – these spaces will go faster than Stevie’s fingers on the keys 🎹
🚉 Public Transport Tips
- Train – Cardiff Central or Cathays station are your best bets
- Bus – Cardiff Bus routes 27, 35, 38, and 44 drop nearby
- Walk – From city centre: about 20 minutes across Bute Park = lush route!
Last trains leave before midnight, so don’t risk a “Stranded in Splott” scenario 🫣
🧳 What to Bring
- Portable phone charger 🔋
- Rain poncho ☔ (this is Wales, not California)
- ID (for the bar, obviously)
- Small bag (subject to searches)
- Earplugs if you’re bringing the kids
- Your best soul-shaking dance moves 🕺
🧃 Food & Drink
- Bars on site – card only!
- Water refill stations available 💧
- No outside food/drink (except medical or baby needs)
- Expect street food from Dirty Bird, Franks Hot Dogs, and maybe even a cheeky Cymrucuterie stand 👀
📵 Is It Phone-Free?
Nah, this isn’t WARGASM 😜 But they’re asking people to enjoy the music, not just film it for Instagram. Live in the moment, butt!
🎫 Tickets
If you’re lucky enough to have a ticket – hang on to it tighter than Stevie’s grip on a Motown groove.
🎟️ General admission: SOLD OUT
🎟️ VIP: Still a few left (if you fancy paying £200 to sit on a deckchair and queue for prosecco)
🗣️ Final Thoughts
This one’s history in the making. One of only three UK outdoor shows from a living legend. Cardiff’s Blackweir Live goes out in soulful, sunshine style 🌞🎶
You’ll laugh, cry, sing your lungs out – and probably get stuck in traffic. But it’ll be worth every second.
Stevie’s coming to Cardiff, and we’re here for it. Signed. Sealed. Delivered.
