Merthyr Tydfil’s very own riff-lords Florence Black are back at it, mun! The heavy rock trio have just announced a September 2025 UK & Ireland headline tour, and it’s shaping up to be one of the loudest, sweatiest, and most glorious runs of shows this year. 🤘🇬🇧🇮🇪
After tearing up the festival circuit and slamming out crowd favourites like Sun & Moon, Bird on a Chain and Can You Feel It?, the boys are ready to step things up another notch. And trust us, when Florence Black say “headline tour,” they mean 12 dates of pure chaos and molten riffage. 🔥
🎶 Who Are Florence Black?
If you’ve been living under a rock (or worse, listening to Coldplay 😅), Florence Black are the pride of Merthyr Tydfil. Fronted by Tristan Thomas on vocals and guitar, alongside Jordan Evans on bass and Perry Davies on drums, the band have been carving their way into the rock and metal scene with a sound that fuses classic heavy grooves, ripping solos, and choruses built for arenas.
They’ve supported legends like Those Damn Crows, smashed sets at Steelhouse Festival and Bloodstock, and even earned praise from the likes of Bullet For My Valentine. Now, they’re out to prove they can headline the big stages all on their own – and we’re not betting against them. 🏴

🏴 Florence Black Carrying the Welsh Torch
There’s something proper lush about watching these lads rise. Wales has a proud history of producing heavy hitters – from Manic Street Preachers to Bullet For My Valentine to Skindred – and Florence Black are firmly planting themselves in that legacy. C’mon butt, they’re flying the dragon flag loud and proud, and we’re here for it. 🐉
🎟️ Don’t Miss Out
This tour is set to be a tidy run of shows that’ll sell out faster than you can shout “Only in Wales, mun!” If you’re a fan of big riffs, singalong choruses, and rock ‘n’ roll swagger, Florence Black are unmissable.
So, polish up your battle jackets, warm up those vocal cords, and get ready to scream every word back at them this September. This one’s going to be legendary. 🔥
