Hold onto your pint, butt โ REEF are back! And theyโve just dropped an absolute barnstormer of a single called โNaked (2025)โ, proving once again that the Brit rock legends still have riffs thicker than a Bridgwater accent and grooves dirtier than your wellies after Glasto. ๐ฅ๐ธ
๐ง A Return to That Classic REEF Swagger
From the moment the track kicks off, โNaked (2025)โ is pure, unfiltered REEF โ all crunchy guitars, bluesy bounce, and Gary Stringerโs unmistakable rasp tearing through like itโs still 1997. The band sound rejuvenated, grinning their way through every riff as if someoneโs just told them cider is free for life.
Itโs got that โPut Your Hands Onโ energy with a little extra grit โ a proper pub anthem in the making. Imagine a crowd of sunburnt rockers shouting the chorus at Steelhouse Festival next summer โ lush! โ๏ธ๐บ
๐ค The Sound: Dirty, Fun, and Full of Life
The production hits that sweet spot between old-school fuzz and modern punch โ itโs raw, alive, and not afraid to get messy. No overpolished nonsense here, just good olโ British rock the way itโs meant to be: loud, loose, and a little cheeky.
The basslines rumble like a festival generator, the drums stomp like Doc Martens on a sticky floor, and that chorusโฆ mate, itโs massive. Youโll be humming it before your pint hits the table.
๐ฌ Video Incoming? ๐
Rumour has it the band are gearing up for a wild video drop โ possibly something featuring the band stripped back (not literally, hopefully ๐ ) and jamming live in their element. Knowing REEF, expect proper chaos, charisma, and probably someone falling off a bar stool.
๐ธ REEF in 2025: Still Naked, Still Rocking
This new single feels like the start of something bigger. Word on the grapevine (and Stringerโs socials) hints that a full new album might be on the way later in 2025, following their blistering live shows this year.
After thirty years in the game, these lads still deliver with that grin-and-grit attitude that made us fall for them in the first place. Theyโre not chasing trends โ they are the vibe.
๐ด Only in the West Country, Munโฆ
REEFโs โNaked (2025)โ reminds us why British rock still slaps harder than a gale off the Bristol Channel. Itโs cheeky, soulful, and soaked in sweat and swagger.
Proper job, boys. ๐ฅ
