๐Ÿ”ฅ 2027 Line-Up: Already well underway

Get ready to answer the call because Call Of The Wild Festival returns to Lincolnshire Showground from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 May 2027.

One of Britain’s most fiercely independent grassroots rock gatherings is bringing the Wolfpack back together for another Bank Holiday weekend packed with hard rock, metal, sleaze, punk, southern swagger, emerging talent and plenty of bands you’ll probably arrive knowing nothing about before leaving with their merch under your arm.

Since launching in 2019, Call Of The Wild has built a reputation around something refreshingly straightforward:

Great music.

Fair prices.

Grassroots bands.

Friendly people.

And a festival community that actually feels like one.

The 2027 edition is already taking shape, with These Wicked Rivers stepping into a headline role, Swedish sleaze favourites CRASHDรET set to close the main stage on Sunday and a rapidly expanding bill bringing together bands from across the UK, Europe, Australia and North America.

The Wolfpack is gathering again.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Call Of The Wild Festival 2027 Line-Up

The 2027 poster is already getting seriously busy.

Artists currently confirmed include:

These Wicked Rivers

CRASHDรET

Warrior Soul

Bullets & Octane

Electric Boys

Absolva

REZET

Cassidy Paris

Shotgun Mistress

Smoking Snakes

Preacher Stone

Scotty Austin of Saving Abel

Big Red Fire Truck

Soho Dukes

Rhabstallion

ThrasherWolf

Perfect Beasts

Dead Zebras

Roxxi Red

Moskito

DEโ€™LOUR

We Three Kings

Velveteen Queen

Ricky Rat

Rattlesnakes

Molly Karloff

Liberty Slaves

Hunger

Hemloch

Heartstrung

Harsh

Firmament

Electron

Deus Culpa

LN

Voodoo Sioux

Wailing Banshee

Sydney Fate

Kissing Kaos

And there is still more to come.

That’s already a massive spread of hard rock, metal, sleaze, punk, melodic rock and grassroots noise.

Exactly how Call Of The Wild likes it.

๐Ÿ”ฅ These Wicked Rivers Step Up

One of the biggest stories surrounding 2027 is These Wicked Rivers taking a main-stage headline position.

The Derby rockers have spent years steadily climbing through the British live circuit, building their reputation through relentless touring, festival appearances and a wonderfully rootsy mixture of blues, hard rock and southern-flavoured swagger.

This is the sort of booking grassroots festivals should make.

A band develops.

The audience grows with them.

Then the festival gives them the big slot.

That’s how scenes move forward.

Watching These Wicked Rivers step up to headline Call Of The Wild feels less like somebody parachuting a giant name onto the poster and more like watching the next chapter of the UK rock scene unfold in real time.

๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช CRASHDรET Headline Sunday

Sunday night brings some proper Scandinavian sleaze to Lincolnshire as CRASHDรET headline the main stage.

The Swedish favourites have been flying the flag for sleaze and glam-metal-infused hard rock since the early 2000s, carrying the spirit of the Sunset Strip into a modern European scene that never really stopped loving massive choruses, leather trousers and dangerous-looking guitars.

Expect:

๐Ÿ”ฅ Glam-metal swagger

โšก Huge hooks

๐ŸŽธ Big riffs

๐Ÿ’„ Questionable quantities of eyeliner

๐Ÿค˜ And one seriously rowdy Sunday night

They’ll be joined across the weekend by fellow Swedish acts including Electric Boys and Smoking Snakes, giving the 2027 festival another healthy Scandinavian invasion.

๐Ÿ’ฅ Warrior Soul

Warrior Soul add some politically charged alternative hard-rock attitude to the weekend.

Led by the unmistakable Kory Clarke, the band have never exactly been interested in behaving themselves.

That makes them perfect Call Of The Wild territory.

Raw.

Rebellious.

Loud.

And probably unlikely to spend their stage time politely discussing the weather.

Excellent.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Bullets & Octane

American rock โ€™nโ€™ roll troublemakers Bullets & Octane return to headline the Southall Lawless Stage.

Their brand of punky, high-energy hard rock has made them festival favourites on this side of the Atlantic, and Call Of The Wild crowds already know exactly what they’re getting.

Sweat.

Energy.

Big choruses.

And the distinct possibility of a crowd suddenly deciding personal space is overrated.

๐ŸŽธ Electric Boys

Sweden’s Electric Boys bring decades of experience to Lincolnshire.

Formed in Stockholm back in the late 1980s, they’ve built their reputation around a distinctive mixture of hard rock, groove, funk and classic-rock attitude.

They’re one of those bands capable of sounding unmistakably old-school without feeling like a museum exhibit.

Perfect festival material.

๐Ÿค˜ Cassidy Paris & Shotgun Mistress Bring The Aussie Noise

Call Of The Wild has always looked beyond Britain when building its bills, and the 2027 festival continues that trend.

Australian rising star Cassidy Paris returns with her melodic hard-rock sound, while fellow Aussies Shotgun Mistress bring another blast of modern rock from Down Under.

The international side of Call Of The Wild is part of its charm.

You can watch a British grassroots act.

Walk across the arena.

Catch an Australian band.

Then end the evening with Swedish sleaze or American punk rock.

Not bad for a weekend in Lincolnshire.

๐Ÿบ Thursday โ€“ The Alpha Welcome Party

Call Of The Wild doesn’t necessarily wait until Friday to start causing trouble.

Festival-goers with the Alpha Upgrade can arrive early on Thursday and join the special Alpha Welcome Party.

For 2027, Thursday night is already shaping up with:

Roxxi Red

Big Red Fire Truck

plus one of the festival’s Trailblazer winners.

The Alpha upgrade also provides early arrival and access to the dedicated Alpha Retreat, alongside festival offers and other benefits.

Basically?

If you’ve already travelled all the way to Lincolnshire, another night of rock doesn’t sound like a terrible idea.

๐ŸŒฑ Trailblazer โ€“ Finding Tomorrowโ€™s Bands

One of the most important things Call Of The Wild does happens long before the festival gates open.

Trailblazer is the festival’s grassroots talent search, designed to discover new and unsigned rock bands and give them meaningful opportunities.

For 2027, bands from around the UK and beyond enter a series of heats before the strongest acts reach a live final at Corporation in Sheffield.

The eventual winners earn festival appearances including opening slots across Call Of The Wild’s stages.

And this isn’t token โ€œnew band at 10am while nobody’s watchingโ€ stuff.

Call Of The Wild genuinely builds its identity around finding developing artists and giving them a platform.

That’s exactly what grassroots festivals should do.

๐ŸŽช Three Stages Of Rock

Call Of The Wild operates across three stages.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Kilmister Stage

The main stage.

Big performances.

Major headline sets.

The heart of the festival.

And yes, it’s named after Lemmy.

Which automatically earns several points.

โšก Southall Lawless Stage

Another full festival stage featuring major touring acts, cult favourites and future headliners.

For 2027, Bullets & Octane are already confirmed to lead the stage during the weekend.

๐ŸŒฑ Trailblazer Stage

This is where grassroots discovery takes centre stage.

Newer bands.

Emerging artists.

Artists proving themselves to the Wolfpack.

Don’t ignore it.

Some of the best festival discoveries happen here.

๐Ÿบ The Wolfpack

Call Of The Wild doesn’t simply call its audience festival-goers.

They’re the Wolfpack.

And that community spirit has become a huge part of what makes the festival work.

Fans return year after year.

Bands walk around the arena.

Artists watch each other.

People make new friends.

Festival regulars reconnect.

And newcomers tend to get absorbed into the whole thing surprisingly quickly.

It’s the sort of festival where you’re considerably more likely to end up chatting to strangers at the bar than disappearing anonymously into a crowd of 100,000 people.

Smaller independent festivals do that brilliantly.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง A Family-Friendly Rock Festival

Call Of The Wild actively promotes itself as a family-friendly festival.

Children are welcome, and ticket pricing makes bringing younger rock fans considerably more affordable than at many larger events.

Current weekend prices include:

๐Ÿง’ Ages 10โ€“15

ยฃ55 face value

๐Ÿ‘ถ Under 10s

Free

Anyone under 16 must attend with a responsible adult aged 18 or over.

The festival has also previously included activities aimed at younger members of the Wolfpack.

It’s a cracking way to introduce kids to live rock without immediately throwing them into a giant event with the population of a small city.

๐Ÿ‘‚ Protect The Little Wolves

One important thing.

Hearing protection.

For everyone.

Especially children.

Three days of amplified rock is a lot of noise exposure.

Adults should consider proper filtered concert earplugs, while younger festival-goers need suitable child-specific hearing protection.

Start them young.

But protect those lugholes.

โ›บ Camping At Call Of The Wild

Want the full festival experience?

Camping is available separately from the main arena ticket.

Current standard camping costs:

โ›บ ยฃ20 Per Person

The camping ticket is required for anybody staying overnight in a tent or live-in vehicle.

And because this is a proper festival weekend, camping means you’re right there in the middle of the Wolfpack rather than disappearing into a hotel miles away.

Pitch the tent.

Find your neighbours.

Locate the bar.

Job done.

๐Ÿš Live-In Vehicles

Campervans and other suitable live-in vehicles are welcome with the appropriate ticket.

Current options include:

๐Ÿš Live-In Vehicle Pitch โ€“ No Electric

ยฃ55 face value per vehicle

โšก Live-In Vehicle With Electric Hook-Up

ยฃ75 face value per vehicle

Everyone staying inside the vehicle still requires the appropriate camping and arena ticket.

So don’t assume one campervan pass magically covers six mates.

Nice try.

โœจ Glamping

If you’ve decided your relationship with airbeds has run its course, glamping is also available.

Pre-pitched bell tents come in several sizes with different bed configurations.

There are options for couples, groups and larger festival crews.

Electric hook-up can also be added to glamping accommodation.

Essentially:

Festival atmosphere.

Rock bands.

Proper bed.

Considerably fewer arguments about tent poles.

We see the appeal.

๐Ÿš— Parking

Weekend parking is available separately at:

๐Ÿš— ยฃ20 Per Vehicle

The main festival entrance is at Gate 1 of Lincolnshire Showground, just off the A15.

Once inside, festival crew direct vehicles towards the correct parking, unloading or camping area.

As always:

Follow official festival signs once you’re close.

Don’t assume the sat-nav’s mysterious โ€œfaster routeโ€ down a tiny country road knows better.

It doesn’t.

๐Ÿž๏ธ Lincolnshire Showground

Call Of The Wild takes place at:

Lincolnshire Showground
Grange-de-Lings
Lincoln
LN2 2NA

The spacious showground gives the festival plenty of room for stages, camping, traders, bars and facilities while remaining compact enough to retain the atmosphere of an independent gathering.

That’s important.

Nobody wants to walk forty-five minutes between stages.

Call Of The Wild’s scale means you can actually spend more time watching bands than travelling towards them.

Revolutionary thinking.

๐Ÿบ The Wolfpack Bar

The Wolfpack Bar has become one of the festival’s social hubs.

Located inside the Trailblazer Stage marquee, it’s an obvious meeting point throughout the weekend.

Rock fans.

Bands.

Beer.

Grassroots music happening nearby.

You can probably work out how the rest goes.

Personal alcohol can’t be taken into the arena, so drinks inside the main festival area need to be purchased from the festival bars.

Soft drinks and reusable water bottles are subject to the festival’s entry rules.

And yes:

Drink some water occasionally.

Your Sunday self will be grateful.

๐Ÿ” Food & Traders

Call Of The Wild has developed a reputation for keeping food and drink relatively sensible compared with some giant festival events.

Expect a selection of food vendors and independent traders throughout the arena.

Band merchandise.

Festival merch.

Rock clothing.

Various things you absolutely weren’t planning to buy.

You know the drill.

You arrive with a budget.

The budget lasts approximately four hours.

โ™ฟ Accessibility

Call Of The Wild provides accessibility arrangements including PA / companion ticket support for eligible festival-goers.

Applications require appropriate documentation and should be completed before attending.

The festival also provides accessibility ticket options for adults and children, alongside support for assistance dogs.

Anyone needing specific help should sort arrangements early rather than waiting until festival weekend.

โฐ Arena Opening Times

For standard festival ticket holders, the main arena opens at approximately:

๐Ÿ”ฅ Friday โ€“ 10:30am

๐Ÿค˜ Saturday โ€“ 10:30am

๐Ÿ’€ Sunday โ€“ 10:30am

The arena remains open late each evening, with entertainment continuing into the night.

Alpha ticket holders get Thursday access from approximately 6:00pm for the welcome party.

Final 2027 band times will be published closer to the event.

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Call Of The Wild Festival 2027 Tickets

๐Ÿ”ฅ Why Call Of The Wild Belongs On The Calendar

Call Of The Wild represents exactly why Britain’s independent festival scene matters.

It’s not trying to become another enormous corporate mega-event.

It’s trying to create a brilliant rock weekend.

And that’s enough.

The organisers support grassroots musicians.

Families are welcome.

Ticket prices remain comparatively accessible.

The audience feels like a community.

Bands mix with fans.

Emerging artists get meaningful opportunities.

And the line-up isn’t afraid to bounce between sleaze, hard rock, metal, punk, southern rock and whatever else sounds good.

That’s how festivals stay interesting.

So get 27โ€“30 May 2027 into the diary.

Join the Wolfpack.

Sort the tent.

Get the festival crew together.

Start working through that increasingly massive line-up.

And leave plenty of room for the bands you’ve never heard before.

Because chances are?

One of them is going to become your new favourite.
