Well, butt… January 2027 just got a proper boot through the venue doors.

Massive Wagons and Terrorvision have announced a huge co-headline UK tour, and it sounds like exactly the sort of sweat-soaked, pint-hoisting, chorus-bellowing rock chaos we all need after the festive season has emptied our wallets and left us emotionally attached to leftover Quality Street.

The tour, brilliantly titled The Roar Of The Roses, will see the Lancaster hard rock bruisers team up with the Bradford legends for nine UK shows across January and February 2027.

And before anyone starts shouting about Yorkshire versus Lancashire — calm down, mun. This isn’t a War of the Roses. This is a Roar of the Roses. Big difference. Less medieval battlefield, more riffs, smiles, and people losing their voices before the encore.

Two Proper British Rock Heavyweights, One Massive Tour 🎸🔥

This is one of those tour announcements that immediately makes sense.

On one side, you’ve got Massive Wagons — a band built for big stages, bigger choruses, and the sort of live show that makes you wonder whether someone has secretly wired the drum kit into the National Grid.

On the other, you’ve got Terrorvision — Bradford’s finest providers of colourful, cheeky, feel-good rock anthems, a band who have been making crowds bounce, grin, and yell lyrics back at frightening volume for decades.

Put them together and what do you get?

A proper British rock knees-up with enough energy to power a wet festival field, a motorway services Greggs, and half of Wales on a Saturday night.

Full Headline Sets Each Night? Tidy! 🤘

The best bit? This isn’t one of those “co-headline” tours where one band sneaks on for 45 minutes while everyone argues over who got the better dressing room.

Nope.

Both bands will perform full headline sets every night, with the closing slot alternating throughout the tour. That means every stop gets a proper double helping of rock mayhem, with each night carrying its own slightly different flavour of chaos.

Some nights, Massive Wagons will bring the final blast.

Other nights, Terrorvision will slam the door shut with a grin.

Either way, fans are getting two headline-sized performances for one gloriously loud night out. That’s value, butt.

No Welsh Date? Behave Yourselves Mun 😤🐉

Right then. We need to have a word.

Nine UK shows. Loads of rock chaos. Massive Wagons. Terrorvision. Big venues. Big riffs. Big northern energy.

And not one Welsh date?

C’mon now, mun. Cardiff is sitting right there with open arms, a massive appetite for live music, and probably someone already planning where to park near the venue. Swansea would have had this bouncing. Newport would have made it gloriously rowdy. Even Wrexham would’ve brought the noise.

But no. Wales has been left outside the tour bus again like someone forgot the kettle.

Still, Welsh fans are made of stronger stuff. We travel. We survive motorway nonsense. We know how to make a gig pilgrimage out of anything.

For the Welsh faithful, Bristol and Wolverhampton are looking like the obvious road-trip choices. Fill the car, queue the playlist, grab a Greggs, and prepare to shout yourself inside out.

What Can Fans Expect? 🔥

Expect huge choruses.

Expect sweat.

Expect middle-aged rock fans suddenly developing the knees of Olympic athletes when the big songs kick in.

Expect pints in the air, arms around strangers, and at least one bloke near the sound desk loudly explaining that he saw Terrorvision “back in the day” while absolutely loving every second of it.

Massive Wagons have built their reputation on being one of the most exciting live rock bands in the UK, bringing hard-hitting riffs, massive hooks, and frontman Baz Mills’ unstoppable energy to every stage they hit.

Terrorvision, meanwhile, remain one of the great British rock party machines — bright, loud, daft in all the right places, and armed with songs that are basically engineered to turn a venue into a giant singalong.

Together? That’s not just a gig. That’s a big sweaty celebration of British rock done properly.

Massive Wagons Are Charging Into 2027 🚛🎸

The tour also lands as Massive Wagons prepare for their next chapter, with new music on the way through Reaper Records and a forthcoming eighth studio album expected in 2027.

That means this tour could arrive with fresh riffs, fresh chaos, and a band fully loaded for the next era.

The Wagons have been grafting hard for years, building a loyal following through relentless touring, festival appearances, and a live show that feels less like a performance and more like someone launching a rock band from a cannon.

They’re one of those bands that remind you what British rock does best — no nonsense, no fake swagger, just big tunes, big hearts, and a crowd that leaves with sore throats and stupid grins.

Terrorvision Bring The Bradford Swagger 😎

And then there’s Terrorvision.

A band with character. A band with colour. A band with songs that still sound like they were built to be screamed back by a packed room full of people who’ve had exactly the right amount of pre-gig refreshment.

They’ve always had that rare ability to be fun without being throwaway, cheeky without being flimsy, and properly rocking without taking themselves too seriously.

That’s why this pairing works so well.

Massive Wagons bring the modern hard rock firepower. Terrorvision bring the classic British rock swagger. Together, it feels like a tour designed by someone who looked at January and said, “Nah, this month needs more guitars.”

Ticket Details 🎟️

Tickets for The Roar Of The Roses Tour go on general sale at 10am on Friday 3 July 2026.

Fans can also look out for presale options earlier in the week, so keep those alarms set, your card nearby, and your gig mates warned.

Because this one has “don’t leave it too late” written all over it.

The Riff Report Verdict 🤘🔥

This tour looks like an absolute belter.

Two brilliant British rock bands. Full headline sets. Alternating closers. Nine dates. Big tunes. Big smiles. Big “why isn’t there a Cardiff date?” energy.

The Roar Of The Roses Tour is shaping up to be one of the first proper rock road trips of 2027, and if you like your gigs loud, fun, rowdy, and packed with choruses that could knock condensation off a venue ceiling, this belongs on your calendar.

Massive Wagons and Terrorvision on the same bill?

That’s not just tidy.

That’s proper lush, mun. 🌹🤘🔥

Michael

🎸 About Michael Michael is the founder, editor and chief riff wrangler of The Riff Report, an independent Welsh rock, metal and alternative music publication built by fans, for fans. A lifelong rock and metal fan, Michael has spent years immersed in the music, culture and community that surround the heavier side of life. From discovering new bands and digging through classic albums to standing in muddy festival fields, squeezing into packed venues and spending far too much time near the front of a stage, music has always been much more than background noise — it is a massive part of who he is. That passion eventually became The Riff Report, a publication created to celebrate the bands, artists, venues, festivals, photographers, promoters and fans who keep the rock and metal world turning. Michael spends much of the year covering gigs, festivals, tours, album releases, new singles, interviews and music news, with a camera never too far away and a press pass usually hanging somewhere around his neck. Whether it is a huge arena show, a major outdoor festival or a tiny grassroots venue packed with people discovering their new favourite band, he believes every part of the scene has stories worth telling. For Michael, one of the biggest joys of music journalism is being able to shine a light on artists at every level. The Riff Report is just as interested in the hungry independent band playing to 50 people as it is in the global act headlining to 50,000. Supporting unsigned, independent and grassroots musicians is a huge part of the publication’s identity, because every legendary band started somewhere. Sometimes the next big thing is not on a massive billboard or a major-label playlist — sometimes they are crammed onto a tiny stage in a pub, plugging in their own gear and hoping somebody in the room remembers their name. Michael wants The Riff Report to be one of the places that remembers.
