If you’ve ever wondered what it would sound like if a slaughterhouse became self-aware, started worshipping blastbeats, and recorded an album in the basement of a condemned laboratory… congratulations, Divulsive have beaten you to it. 😈
US brutal death metal wrecking crew Divulsive are preparing to unleash their debut full-length nightmare Spawned In Viscera via Comatose Music on July 24th, 2026, and sweet merciful riffs mun… this thing is FILTHY.
Not “bit heavy innit” filthy.
We’re talking:
🩸 bone-snapping riffs
🩸 sewer-dwelling vocals
🩸 drums that sound like industrial machinery exploding inside a morgue freezer
🩸 enough disgusting grooves to make your local priest burst into tears
Proper job. 🤘
Welcome To The Surgical Theatre Of Horror 🔪⚙️
From the very first moments, Spawned In Viscera doesn’t gently introduce itself. Oh no. It grabs you by the throat, drags you into a room full of rusted instruments and flickering fluorescent lights, then proceeds to cave your ribcage in with one of the nastiest snare sounds we’ve heard all year.
Divulsive first emerged onto the underground brutal death metal scene with their 2024 demo, but this debut album feels like the sound of a band kicking down the doors of the genre entirely.
And trust us — in a scene already overflowing with blastbeats, gore obsession, and riffs uglier than a festival portaloo on Sunday morning, that’s not easy to do.
Yet somehow Divulsive manage it.
This album genuinely sounds deranged in the best possible way.
Songs That Should Probably Be Illegal ☠️
The track titles alone look like they were generated by a sleep-deprived medical demon after three cans of Monster and a weekend watching horror VHS tapes.
And honestly? We respect that commitment to the bit.
Tracks like:
- “Vomiting Homeless Excrement”
- “Obsessive Anal Defilement”
- “Mechanized Carnivorous Impurity”
- “Spawned In Viscera”
…all hit like a collapsing building made entirely of blastbeats and hatred.
The title track especially lurches forward with disgusting groove sections buried beneath layers of rotten riffage, while the vocals sound less “human performance” and more “possessed creature trapped inside a broken industrial fan.”
You know. The good stuff. 🔥
Absolute Underground Madness 🧠💀
For fans of:
- Devourment
- Disgorge
- Regurgitation
- Pustulated
…this is going to feel like Christmas morning if Santa Claus arrived carrying severed limbs and a double kick pedal.
The production comes courtesy of guitarist Thomas Meeker, who also handled mixing and mastering duties. The result is a suffocating wall of sonic violence that somehow still allows the riffs to punch through the chaos like a crowbar through plasterboard.
Meanwhile, artwork from Ethan Valk looks exactly how this album sounds:
absolutely horrifying. Lovely stuff. 😅
DIVULSIVE Line-Up 🤘

The Riff Report Verdict 🎤
Spawned In Viscera is not an album you casually throw on while making a cup of tea.
This is music for:
🔥 underground pit goblins
🔥 sleeveless battle jacket warriors
🔥 people who think “too brutal” is a challenge, not a warning
Divulsive have delivered a debut that feels genuinely dangerous — a grotesque, punishing slab of brutal death metal that stomps straight past the boundaries of “extreme” and keeps going until the walls start bleeding.
Absolutely unhinged.
Absolutely disgusting.
Absolutely brilliant. 🤘🩸
