Rock fans across Europe were dealt a surprise this week as Black Veil Brides drummer Christian “CC” Coma announced he will be stepping away from the band’s current European tour due to what has been described as a private personal matter.
The band shared the news with fans ahead of their upcoming run of shows, confirming that CC will not be joining them overseas while he focuses on matters away from the stage.
And before anyone starts panicking in the comments, the band have made it clear that the tour is still going ahead.

To keep the wheels turning, Godsmack drummer Wade Murff has been drafted in to take over drumming duties for the European dates.
Murff is no stranger to massive stages and arena-sized crowds, having built a reputation as a powerhouse drummer capable of handling the kind of high-energy performances fans expect from both Godsmack and Black Veil Brides.
For a band whose live show relies heavily on precision, theatricality, and a relentless wall of sound, bringing in an experienced drummer was always going to be essential.
Thankfully, it looks like Black Veil Brides have found exactly that.
