Back in November 2025, Hungarian atmospheric black metal duo WitcheR released something quietly monumental. Their album Öröklét, unleashed via Filosofem Records, wasn’t just another release tossed into the void — it was a hypnotic narrative, steeped in atmosphere, ritual, and ancient weight.
Now, WitcheR have returned with a mesmerising new video for the album’s title track, and it’s an eerie, slow-burning triumph that deepens the album’s already vast mystical world.

This isn’t a quick-cut performance clip.
The video for Öröklét was created across an entire year, deliberately mirroring the song’s core theme: time, recurrence, and eternal return.
Seasons shift. Light fades. Nature reclaims. Nothing truly disappears.
The band explain:
“We didn’t just want to make a video clip, we wanted to experience the entire year in the spirit of the song.
This song and this video are about time. About how everything returns, and nothing passes without leaving a trace.”
That philosophy seeps into every frame.
🌲 PAGAN RITUALS & THE CYCLE OF NATURE 🌲
Visually, the film is drenched in pagan witchcraft symbolism, drawing from solstice rites, witch traditions, and the ancient rhythms of the natural world. Forests become sacred ground. Movement becomes ceremony. Time itself feels alive.
Rather than telling a linear story, the video documents transformation — decay, rebirth, stillness, motion — capturing the cyclical passage of the seasons as part of the ritual.
