🤘🔥
Right Leeds… cancel your plans, lace up your boots tight, and mentally prepare to be absolutely steamrolled, because VERSUS have just announced the official launch show for their debut album The Catalyst and it’s shaping up to be a proper sweatbox riot.
This isn’t a polite album showcase with nodding heads and sensible footwear. This is a small room, big noise, zero mercy situation.
THE BIG NIGHT
📅 Friday, 12th December 2025
📍 The Lending Room, Leeds, LS2 3AP
Small venue.
Big riffs.
Maximum chaos.
C’mon butt, what more do you need?!
WHAT’S ABOUT TO GO DOWN
The Lending Room is about to witness absolute bedlam as VERSUS tear into fresh material from The Catalyst, rip through old favourites, and generally behave like a band with something to prove and speakers to destroy.
Expect noise.
Expect sweat.
Expect bodies moving in ways that defy health and safety training.
This is the kind of show where the pit forms before the first chorus hits, the air gets thick, and someone definitely loses a shoe. If that someone is you, congratulations… you’ve done it properly.
WHY THIS GIG MATTERS
Album launch shows are different beasts. The band’s hungry, the songs are fresh, and the energy is dialled all the way into the red. The Catalyst isn’t just a debut, it’s a statement, and this Leeds show is VERSUS smashing that statement straight into the crowd’s chest.
No barriers.
No breathing room.
No escape from the riffs.
If you’ve been following VERSUS from the early days, this is your victory lap. If you’re new, this is your baptism by distortion.
THE RIFF REPORT VERDICT
If you like your gigs up close, loud as hell, and dripping in chaos, this is an absolute must. The Lending Room is the perfect pressure cooker for a night like this, and when VERSUS light the fuse, there’ll be no turning back.
Miss it and you’ll be hearing about it second-hand, wishing you’d gone while scrolling blurry videos with regret in your soul.
Leeds… prepare for carnage.
See you in the pit, mun. 😈🎸
