Well, would you look at that! Quo legend Francis Rossi has fired up the amps once more for a brand-new solo album – and it’s pure, undiluted boogie-rock magic! 😎🔥
Titled The Accidental, the record is set to drop 30 January 2026 via earMUSIC, landing on CD, vinyl (including a limited crystal-clear edition) and all the usual streaming haunts. Yep, Rossi’s still rolling out those head-bobbing riffs and cheeky smiles like it’s 1976 all over again. Tidy! 🏴
🪶 What’s Occurring, Then?
We’re getting 14 fresh tracks of what Rossi does best — heads-down, no-nonsense rock ‘n’ roll. Expect bluesy swagger, pub-floor rhythm, and that unmistakable Quo crunch.
The first taster, a double-A single — “Something In The Air (Stormy Weather)” / “Go Man Go” — is already out and giving fans a proper nostalgia hit with a modern punch. You can stream it now and feel the boogie running through your veins. 🤘
🎛️ Who’s in the Studio?
Rossi didn’t ride solo on this one — he’s teamed up with some top-tier talent:
- 🎸 Hiran Ilangantilike – guitar wizardry
- 🎚️ Andy Brook – co-producer and studio maestro
- 🥁 Leon Cave – Quo’s own thunder-foot on drums
- 🎸 John ‘Rhino’ Edwards – that legendary Quo bass growl
