Bar staff who are trained in the scheme will recognise the code and step in to help — calmly and quietly. They might:
Call you a taxi 🚕 Help you get to a safe place 🏃♀️ Or just make sure you can leave without causing a scene 🙌
No drama, no embarrassment — just discreet, immediate help when you need it most.
💔 The Problem It Tackles
Let’s be honest: not every date is a fairy tale. Some people turn out to be completely different to their online profiles (cheers, Photoshop 🙄), and others can make you feel uneasy or unsafe. This campaign is about making sure you don’t have to face that alone.
Whether it’s a dodgy Tinder meet-up, a creepy encounter, or someone just not taking no for an answer — the Ask for Angela phrase gives you a lifeline in seconds.

The bilingual campaign — “Dim Mwy / No More” — is proudly supported across Wales. It’s simple, effective, and could genuinely save lives. The Welsh side says:
“Os cyswlltwch chi ag aelod o staff a gofyn am ‘Angela’, byddant yn gwybod bod angen help arnoch chi.”
Translation: if you go to a member of staff and ask for Angela, they’ll know you need help.
