Well butt, here’s a twist worthy of The Osbournes reality show itself – BBC bosses have reportedly been forced to pull a planned documentary on the Prince of Darkness after Ozzy’s own family kicked up a storm about it.
According to reports, the Beeb had something pretty meaty lined up – a behind-the-scenes look at Ozzy’s career, chaos, and legacy. But the Osbourne clan weren’t having it. Word on the street is that there were “serious family complaints” about how it was being handled, and the plug got yanked before it ever saw the light of day.

Ozzy’s life is a whirlwind of madness that only he and Sharon truly survived – from bat-biting, booze-soaked debauchery, to heavy metal superstardom and even reality TV fame. But with such a wild history, there’s always a risk of a documentary crossing the line between tribute and tabloid.
It seems the Osbourne family didn’t agree with how the BBC was telling the story, and given Sharon’s legendary reputation for protecting her husband’s legacy with the ferocity of a mama dragon, this result isn’t exactly shocking.

Fans were likely hoping for unseen footage, rare interviews, and a deeper dive into Ozzy’s insane journey – from Birmingham’s backstreets to global metal god. Instead, the film joins the long list of “cancelled too soon” rock docs that we’ll probably never get to see.
