๐Ÿ’” Tragedy struck the Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night as a man in his 40s sadly lost his life after falling from a height inside the venue.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed they were called to the stadium at 22:19 BST following reports of an injured person. Paramedics and officers responded immediately, but tragically, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His injuries were โ€œconsistent with a fall,โ€ according to police.

It is believed the fall occurred from an upper tier of the stadium, during what was a packed and highly anticipated Oasis performance.

๐ŸŽค Oasis released a short statement following the incident, saying:

โ€œOasis are shocked and saddened to hear of the death of a fan at the show. We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.โ€

The band had been scheduled to perform from 20:15 to 22:15, and the fall reportedly occurred just minutes after the show ended.

The Metropolitan Police have asked that anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have video footage, contact them by calling 101, quoting reference for the event.

They noted that due to the size of the crowd, itโ€™s likely that some footage may exist unknowingly on phones โ€” and they urged fans to come forward.

The case is now being passed to the Health and Safety Executive, who will conduct a full investigation in the coming days.
