Well, that escalated quickly…

Just moments before Babymetal were about to melt Denver’s collective face off with their cyber-metal chaos, the sky had other plans. Fans were primed. The air was electric (literally). And then — POSTPONED. Because of incoming lightning, the show at JunkYard Denver was pulled last minute. You couldn’t write this stuff. Actually… we just did. 😅

The venue released an official statement across socials saying:

“Due to incoming lightning, tonight’s show has been postponed… We will share details on the rescheduled date on our socials and through email when that information is available.”

Translation: the gods of thunder (sorry, Thor) decided tonight’s mosh was off-limits. 🌩️

The Crowd Reaction? Not Exactly “Gimme Chocolate!!” 🍫

Fans were fuming — some already hours deep into their eyeliner, fox masks, and kawaii pit prep. With merch bought, drinks downed, and anticipation peaking, being told to pack it in right before Babymetal’s set? Oof. One fan just slapped the angry react emoji. We feel ya.

What Happens Now?

Keep your eyes on @JunkYardDenver and Babymetal’s socials for the reschedule info. This wasn’t a full cancellation — more like a “hold my sake while the sky tries to kill you.”

In the Meantime…

Let’s hope they make it back to Denver soon, because missing out on “Gimme Chocolate!!” live is enough to make anyone tamping. ⚡😡
