“Lo-Files” drops Friday, 11.07.25 – get ready to chill the hell out, butt.

That’s right – Sheffield’s own scream-slinging, pit-starting metalcore monsters Bring Me The Horizon have just hit fans with the curveball of the year: a full-blown lo-fi album of their biggest bangers. Yup. The band that gave us chaos anthems like “Can You Feel My Heart” and “Shadow Moses” is now inviting us to… take a nap?

Oli Sykes and the lads announced the news on Insta, writing:

“we’ve collaborated with producers we love from the lofi scene to launch a new project where we’ve reworked BMTH songs and created lofi versions.”

The album’s called Lo-files – see what they did there? 😏 – and it’s a 23-track deep, dreamy soundscape of BMTH reimagined for “chilling, focus, sleeping, zoning out… whatever you like.” Basically, it’s your new study playlist if you ever wanted to revise to the sound of “Throne” on Xanax.

💿 What to Expect from “Lo-files”
Expect fuzzy beats, reverb-soaked guitars, and synthy textures wrapping around familiar melodies. Don’t worry, there’s still that BMTH DNA in there – just… sedated. Think less “kick in the face,” more “hug from a cloud.” ☁️🖤

This isn’t the first time BMTH’s dipped their toes outside the pit – remember Music to Listen To… and their genre-blurring collabs with Grimes and Halsey? But this is full-on lo-fi territory. Fans of chillhop, beats-to-study-to, and vaporwave vibes are in for a treat.

📅 Mark your calendar: Friday, 11 July 2025
Whether you’re blasting it on the bus, winding down after work, or needing background noise that still screams (gently), Lo-files might just be the most unexpectedly lush thing BMTH have dropped.

We’ll say it:
From metal to mellow – what a journey, mun. 😮‍💨🎶

🧠 Riff Report Verdict:
Would we rather be in the pit? Sure.
But are we also lying on the floor in our dressing gowns, sipping peppermint tea, and vibing to lo-fi “Drown”?
Also yes. 🫖✨
