At its heart, Bloodstock Open Air has always been about more than just earth-shaking riffs, circle pits and unforgettable performances. It’s a community that looks after its own, and once again that spirit will be on full display as fans come together for Pink Saturday in support of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
Although there won’t be an official Pink Thursday this year, the tradition continues in a new way, with festival-goers invited to wear pink on Saturday 8 August and gather in a powerful show of unity, kindness and remembrance.
💗 Honouring Sylvia Lancaster’s Incredible Legacy
For many years, Bloodstock’s rock and metal family has proudly worn pink in honour of Sylvia Lancaster, whose tireless work following the tragic loss of her daughter Sophie has inspired people across the world to stand against prejudice, hatred and intolerance.
Pink Saturday isn’t just about wearing a bright T-shirt. It’s about showing that our community believes everyone deserves to be accepted for who they are.
