The legendary RAF Red Arrows will be taking off and landing from East Midlands Airport, right next door to Download Festival, giving festival-goers an extra dose of high-speed excitement throughout the weekend.
Anyone who’s been to Download knows that planes are practically part of the festival experience. The sound of aircraft roaring overhead has become as much a tradition as muddy boots, overpriced pints, and arguing with your mates about who had the best set of the day. 😆🍺
But this weekend, things are getting even more exciting as the Red Arrows are operating from the airport next to Donington Park. That means lucky festival-goers could catch glimpses of Britain’s world-famous aerobatic team coming and going between displays.
