From 7thโ10th August 2025, the holy land of Catton Park, Derbyshire becomes our Mecca โ a molten metal mecca where mosh pits replace dancefloors, and circle pits are the only cardio we believe in. ๐๐
๐ค Whatโs Occurring?
For the uninitiated (how dare you), Bloodstock is the UKโs biggest independent metal festival, built by the fans, for the fans, and soaked in 100% pure riff-fuelled carnage. Expect face-melting sets from some of the heaviest bands in the universe, surprise guests, brutal merch hauls, and enough beer to drown a goat.
Whether you’re all about black metal, thrash, death, power, doom or that one Viking bloke with the axe and suspiciously strong mead โ Bloodstockโs got you covered.
๐๏ธ The Calm Before the Storm (But Not That Calmโฆ)
With just 3 days to go, tents are being aired out, spikes are being polished, and the inevitable โwhere did I put my wristband?โ panic is settling in. Weโre prepping our battle vests, grabbing our waterproofs (this is still Britain), and charging the camera gear to cover the chaos for you lovely lot. ๐ธโก
Expect:
- On-site updates straight from the pit
- Band reviews โ brutally honest, slightly sweaty
- Photos galore โ with just enough blood and glitter
- And of course, our usual chaotic energy and possibly a Greggs pasty in hand ๐ฅ
