The Never Ending Tour is rolling back into Britain, butt — and this time Bob Dylan is bringing ten shows, two nights in Blackpool and a whopping five-night residency in London!

The legendary Bob Dylan has announced a major run of UK concerts for November and December 2026, proving once again that retirement apparently isn’t a word in his vocabulary.

At 85 years old, the Nobel Prize-winning songwriter remains one of the hardest-working and most unpredictable performers in music. While some artists might be putting their feet up with a brew and a packet of biscuits, Dylan is preparing to cross Europe before finishing the year with another lap around Britain.

The UK leg begins at Bournemouth’s BIC Windsor Hall on Wednesday 25 November, followed by arena dates in Birmingham and Sheffield.

Dylan will then settle into Blackpool Opera House for two nights before taking over London’s Royal Festival Hall for five performances between 3 and 8 December 2026. (Louder)

🇬🇧 BOB DYLAN’S 2026 UK TOUR DATES

  • Wednesday 25 November 2026 – BIC Windsor Hall, Bournemouth
  • Thursday 26 November 2026 – bp pulse LIVE, Birmingham
  • Friday 27 November 2026 – Utilita Arena, Sheffield
  • Monday 30 November 2026 – Opera House, Blackpool
  • Tuesday 1 December 2026 – Opera House, Blackpool
  • Thursday 3 December 2026 – Royal Festival Hall, London
  • Friday 4 December 2026 – Royal Festival Hall, London
  • Saturday 5 December 2026 – Royal Festival Hall, London
  • Monday 7 December 2026 – Royal Festival Hall, London
  • Tuesday 8 December 2026 – Royal Festival Hall, London

That’s right — five nights in London.

Not one. Not two. Five!

Dylan’s residency at the Royal Festival Hall marks his first London concerts since his three-night run at the Royal Albert Hall in 2024.

🎟️ WHEN DO BOB DYLAN TICKETS GO ON SALE?

Promoter and venue presales are due to begin at 10am on Monday 20 July 2026.

Tickets then go on general sale at 10am on Wednesday 22 July 2026. (Louder)

With Dylan playing a mixture of arenas, concert halls and theatres, demand is likely to be massive — particularly for those intimate Blackpool and London performances.

So, get the alarm set, charge the laptop, make sure the bank isn’t about to block your card and prepare to join the traditional Ticketmaster refresh Olympics.

You know the drill, mun.

📵 PUT THE PHONE AWAY — THESE WILL BE PHONE-FREE SHOWS

Fans attending the concerts should be aware that the shows will once again operate as phone-free events in partnership with Yondr.

On arrival, mobile phones and cameras will be placed inside secure pouches. Fans will keep possession of their devices, but the pouches will remain locked while they are inside the performance area.

Anyone who needs to use their phone will have to leave the phone-free section and visit a designated unlocking area. (Louder)

That means no filming entire songs while blocking the view of the person behind you.

No holding a glowing screen above your head for two hours.

No spending the entire gig trying to capture a blurry video that you’ll probably never watch again.

Just Bob Dylan, his band, the songs and an audience paying attention.

Honestly? There’s something rather tidy about that.

🎤 THE NEVER ENDING ROAD ROLLS ON

The newly announced UK dates form part of a wider European tour beginning in Oslo on 17 October 2026.

The journey will take Dylan through Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia and Austria before reaching Britain in late November.

And when it comes to Bob Dylan, fans should never expect a straightforward nostalgia show.

His performances are famous for reworking familiar songs, changing arrangements and reshaping melodies until classics can sound almost completely different from their original recordings.

You might recognise the lyrics.

You might recognise the chord progression.

Or you might spend half the song squinting at the stage before suddenly realising, “Hang on — this is ‘It Ain’t Me, Babe’!”

That unpredictability is all part of the Dylan experience.

🎶 WHAT COULD BOB DYLAN PLAY?

No official setlist has been revealed for the UK concerts, and predicting a Dylan performance is about as reliable as predicting dry weather at a Welsh festival.

His recent live appearances have continued to draw from across his enormous catalogue, combining legendary songs, deeper cuts, covers and material from his acclaimed 2020 album Rough and Rowdy Ways.

That record features tracks including:

  • I Contain Multitudes
  • False Prophet
  • My Own Version of You
  • Black Rider
  • Key West (Philosopher Pirate)
  • Murder Most Foul

Of course, Dylan’s back catalogue also includes some of the most influential songs ever written:

  • Like a Rolling Stone
  • Blowin’ in the Wind
  • The Times They Are A-Changin’
  • Mr. Tambourine Man
  • Tangled Up in Blue
  • Hurricane
  • Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door
  • All Along the Watchtower
  • Forever Young

Will he play all of those?

Almost certainly not.

Will he completely rearrange whichever ones do appear?

There’s a very good chance.

That’s Bob Dylan. He has never been particularly interested in becoming his own tribute act.

🏆 ONE OF MUSIC’S MOST IMPORTANT SONGWRITERS

Trying to summarise Bob Dylan’s influence is like trying to fit the entire history of rock ’n’ roll onto the back of a Greggs receipt.

Born Robert Zimmerman in Minnesota, Dylan emerged from the American folk scene during the early 1960s and quickly became one of the defining songwriters of his generation.

His lyrics transformed expectations of what popular music could say. Politics, war, injustice, relationships, religion, mythology and surreal imagery all found their way into songs that would influence generations of musicians.

His decision to embrace electric instruments during the mid-1960s helped tear down the walls between folk and rock, even if a few furious traditionalists nearly combusted at the sight of an amplifier.

Since then, Dylan has moved through folk, blues, country, gospel, rock and traditional American music while repeatedly refusing to stay in one comfortable lane.

In 2016, he became the first songwriter to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature, recognised for creating new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition.

Not bad for a bloke who once caused chaos simply by plugging in a guitar.

🎸 A CHANGING TOURING BAND

Dylan’s touring camp has seen several recent changes, with guitarists Doug Lancio and Bob Britt departing.

New musicians joining the live set-up have included jazz guitarist Julian Lage, Memphis rhythm-and-blues player Jad Tariq and Chicago roots musician Joel Paterson.

Exactly which players will appear during the UK leg remains to be seen, but personnel changes could add another unpredictable edge to the upcoming performances.

For Dylan fans, that constant evolution is nothing new.

The songs keep moving.

The arrangements keep changing.

The road keeps stretching ahead.

🔥 THE RIFF REPORT SAYS…

Whether you’ve followed Bob Dylan since the 1960s or discovered his music through films, cover versions, your parents’ record collection or a late-night streaming rabbit hole, this tour offers another opportunity to witness genuine music history.

Dylan isn’t going to arrive with giant inflatable props, twenty costume changes, flame cannons or a drummer suspended upside down above the stage.

This isn’t that sort of spectacle.

The attraction is seeing one of the most important songwriters of all time standing in front of an audience and continuing to reshape the music that changed popular culture.

No phones.

No endless filming.

No digital distractions.

Just the songs, the musicians and several thousand people wondering which Dylan classic they’re currently hearing.

Bob Dylan’s Never Ending Tour rolls back into the UK this winter — and at 85, the old road warrior is still showing absolutely no sign of parking the tour bus.

The times may be a-changin’, but Bob Dylan remains permanently on tour.

Proper job. 🎸🔥

Will you be attempting to grab tickets for Bob Dylan’s 2026 UK tour? Let us know which song you’d love to hear live!

Proudly Welsh. Proudly Loud. Zero Apologies. 🐉🤘

Michael

🎸 About Michael Michael is the founder, editor and chief riff wrangler of The Riff Report, an independent Welsh rock, metal and alternative music publication built by fans, for fans. A lifelong rock and metal fan, Michael has spent years immersed in the music, culture and community that surround the heavier side of life. From discovering new bands and digging through classic albums to standing in muddy festival fields, squeezing into packed venues and spending far too much time near the front of a stage, music has always been much more than background noise — it is a massive part of who he is. That passion eventually became The Riff Report, a publication created to celebrate the bands, artists, venues, festivals, photographers, promoters and fans who keep the rock and metal world turning. Michael spends much of the year covering gigs, festivals, tours, album releases, new singles, interviews and music news, with a camera never too far away and a press pass usually hanging somewhere around his neck. Whether it is a huge arena show, a major outdoor festival or a tiny grassroots venue packed with people discovering their new favourite band, he believes every part of the scene has stories worth telling. For Michael, one of the biggest joys of music journalism is being able to shine a light on artists at every level. The Riff Report is just as interested in the hungry independent band playing to 50 people as it is in the global act headlining to 50,000. Supporting unsigned, independent and grassroots musicians is a huge part of the publication’s identity, because every legendary band started somewhere. Sometimes the next big thing is not on a massive billboard or a major-label playlist — sometimes they are crammed onto a tiny stage in a pub, plugging in their own gear and hoping somebody in the room remembers their name. Michael wants The Riff Report to be one of the places that remembers.
