🚀 AD ASTRA TOUR HITS SWANSEA
Yes butt, you read that right. The legends behind “Girl From Mars”, “Shining Light”, and the eternally mosh-worthy “Burn Baby Burn” are touching down in Swansea’s sweaty and sacred Sin City for a one-off banger of a gig — part of their cosmic-themed Ad Astra Tour.
The show promises to be a high-energy night bursting with anthems, old-school nostalgia, and riffs to rattle your ribcage. Whether you’ve been a fan since the 90s or discovered them via a festival field, this is your rare chance to get up-close and loud with one of Ireland’s most beloved bands — in a venue where you can actually see the whites of Tim Wheeler’s eyes.
🤘 WHY THIS GIG MATTERS
ASH are no strangers to Welsh crowds, but Sin City is an intimate beast, a place where the band can let loose and get personal. This isn’t your usual polished arena show — expect sweat, singalongs, and soaring solos in a packed room full of fellow indie-rock fanatics.
If you’ve ever screamed out the chorus to “Oh Yeah” with a pint in hand, or lost your voice after one too many shouts of “Kung Fu!” — this one’s for you.
And with the band’s recent resurgence and new material teasing a return to their fuzzy, fast-paced roots, this setlist is likely to be a love letter to every era of ASH — from their punky beginnings to their space-age explorations.

With artwork that screams retro sci-fi and a title like “Ad Astra” (“to the stars” in Latin), ASH are clearly looking skyward — but they’ve still got both feet planted in the mud and mosh pits of indie-rock heaven.
From blasting out student unions in the 90s to playing Glastonbury and beyond, their journey has been nothing short of stellar. And now they’re landing in Swansea for a proper Welsh blowout.
