Alright butt… stop what you’re doing and turn it up LOUD 🔊 because Korn have just dropped a brand-new track and it hits like a demon doing a stage dive straight into your face.
Say hello to “Reward The Scars” — a filthy, pounding return from the nu metal legends, and it’s tied in with the upcoming Diablo IV expansion “Lord Of Hatred.”
And honestly? This combo is more perfect than a pint after a muddy festival day 🍺
⚔️ FROM THE PIT… TO THE UNDERWORLD
The track landed April 23, marking Korn’s long-awaited return to fresh material — and they’ve not exactly come back quietly, mind.
“Reward The Scars” is everything you want from Korn:
- 🎸 Down-tuned riffs that feel like they’re dragging chains behind them
- 🥁 Beats that stomp harder than a Download Festival circle pit
- 🎤 Jonathan Davis sounding like he’s possessed (in the best way possible)
This isn’t radio fluff. This is dark, gritty, nasty Korn — the kind that makes you want to headbang in a cave somewhere while fighting demons. Lovely.
🕹️ WHY THIS COLLAB JUST MAKES SENSE
Teaming up with Diablo IV for the “Lord Of Hatred” expansion (dropping April 28) is a match made in absolute chaos.
Think about it:
- Korn = emotional darkness, raw energy, heavy grooves
- Diablo = demons, destruction, nightmare fuel
Put them together and you’ve basically created the soundtrack to the apocalypse… and we are HERE for it 😈🔥
This isn’t just a lazy crossover either — the track genuinely feels like it belongs in that world. You can practically hear it blasting while you’re dodging monsters and spamming attacks like your life depends on it.
🔥 FIRST NEW KORN SINCE REQUIEM
For fans, this is a big moment.
Since 2022’s Requiem, things have been a bit quiet on the new music front — loads of touring, loads of chaos, but not much fresh studio madness.
Now? They’re back.
And they’ve come back swinging.
🤘 RIFF REPORT VERDICT
“Reward The Scars” is Korn doing what Korn do best — dragging emotion through distortion and making it groove like hell.
It’s heavy.
It’s moody.
It’s got that proper spine-rattling energy that makes you pull the “stank face” without even realising it.
And more importantly…
👉 It proves Korn are still absolute monsters after all these years.
🎧 SHOULD YOU CHECK IT OUT?
If you like:
- Classic Korn vibes
- Dark, atmospheric metal
- Gaming soundtracks that go HARD
- Or just fancy scaring your neighbours a bit
Then yeah… this one’s for you, mun.
🎤 FINAL THOUGHT
Korn teaming up with Diablo IV is the kind of crossover we didn’t know we needed… but now we’ve got it, we’re not giving it back.
Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to:
🎮 Slay demons
🤘 Break our necks
🍺 And pretend we’re in a music video
Korn are back. The underworld is loud. And the scars? Proper rewarded. 🔥😈
