What’s Occurring?
If you thought When Rivers Meet’s Tree of Life Tour was already one of the hottest tickets this autumn, think again. The blues-rock powerhouse duo Grace and Aaron Bond have just dropped a little bombshell on us — three extra UK dates added to the tour. And trust us, mun, it’s about to get rowdy.
The Tree of Life Tour is all about their upcoming new album, Addicted To You. Fans have been screaming for more ever since it was announced, and now the map’s grown fatter than your uncle after a December buffet. Tidy!
🎶 The Album: Addicted To You
Before we dive into the new tour dates, let’s chat about the record fuelling this madness. Addicted To You is set to continue the evolution of When Rivers Meet’s signature sound — that raw mix of gritty guitar riffs, soaring vocals, swampy blues undertones, and hooks big enough to snag a shark.
Grace’s vocals? Smoky and spine-shivering. Aaron’s guitar work? As dirty as the Valleys after a night out. Together? A tidal wave of rock’n’roll that doesn’t mess about.
The singles teased so far have already lit up socials, with fans describing them as:
- “Proper old-school but fresh as chips”
- “Like Zeppelin went for a pint with Janis Joplin”
- “That bassline made my nan headbang”
If the record lives up to even half the hype, we’re looking at one of 2025’s biggest UK rock releases.
🛣️ The Tree of Life Tour: Big Picture
Originally announced as a chunky run of UK dates, the Tree of Life Tour already stretched across the country like a sonic motorway: Exeter, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, London — all the usual suspects were in.
But here’s the thing: demand was off the charts. Venues were selling out, fans were begging on Facebook groups, and promoters were wiping sweat off their brows. So what do Grace and Aaron do?
They add more shows, mun. That’s how you do it.
📍 The Three New Shows
Alright, let’s have a drumroll (🥁🥁🥁) because here are the fresh additions:
- Fri 31 Oct – The Atkinson, Southport
Halloween night in Southport? Expect costumes, spooky riffs, and probably a few drunk ghosts in the crowd. 🎃 - Sun 9 Nov – Old Fire Station, Carlisle
A Sunday night blowout up north. Don’t think “school night” vibes — this will be a sweaty, whiskey-fuelled sermon in a converted fire station. 🔥 - Thu 27 Nov – SUB89, Reading
Reading gets the final extra show, and SUB89 is notorious for being a sweaty, intimate box where bands and fans collide like a rugby scrum. Bring deodorant. 💥
🏴 Welsh Stop: Cardiff’s The Globe
And don’t you worry, butt — the Welsh capital is firmly on the map. Cardiff’s The Globe is set for Thu 20 Nov, and local rocker Georgia Nevada is stepping in as special guest. That’s a double-whammy of talent, and we reckon the valleys will echo with riffs until the early hours.
The Globe’s infamous for being tiny but mighty. It’s one of those venues where you can literally see the sweat flying off the stage. If you’ve never been crushed up against that balcony rail with a pint in your hand, are you even living?
🤘 What to Expect at the Shows
When Rivers Meet aren’t the type to phone it in. Expect:
- Grace’s powerhouse voice ripping straight through your chest.
- Aaron’s guitar tones — fuzzy, greasy, swamp-soaked blues rock heaven.
- New tracks from Addicted To You — probably debuted live for the first time.
- Fan favourites like Did I Break the Law and Testify.
- The bond between the duo that’s so tight you’d think they share a brain cell (in the best possible way).
Throw in a few wildcards, some extended solos, and maybe a cheeky cover, and you’ve got yourself a night to remember.
🥁 Setlist Predictions
Okay, we can’t resist. Let’s riff on what might show up:
- Play My Game (big opener vibes)
- Innocence of Youth
- Addicted To You (new single)
- Lost & Found
- Testify
- Walking on the Wire
- Did I Break the Law
- Perfect Stranger
- New Ballad (Grace vocal showcase)
- Free Man
- Encore: He’ll Drive You Crazy / My Babe mash-up
If they pull that off, expect tears, beer showers, and possibly someone proposing in the mosh pit.
👥 Fan Reactions So Far
- “I’ve booked Carlisle and Reading — can’t miss it twice!”
- “Southport on Halloween? That’s my fancy-dress sorted. I’m going as Grace’s mic stand.”
- “Cardiff Globe with Georgia Nevada — lush line-up mun!”
- “This is the kind of tour that reminds you why UK rock is alive and kicking.”
🍻 Tour Survival Guide
Because we’re sound like that, here’s your cheeky Tree of Life survival guide:
- Get there early — venues like The Globe and SUB89 fill up quicker than Greggs at lunchtime.
- Hydrate (with water, not just pints) — Grace’s vocal power might dehydrate you on the spot.
- Bring earplugs — your nan will thank you.
- Merch money — When Rivers Meet merch slaps, and it’s cheaper than therapy.
- Don’t be a phone zombie — live in the moment, mun.

🎤 The Riff Report Verdict
More shows? More riffs? More chaos? YES PLEASE. When Rivers Meet are carving their place as one of Britain’s most exciting live acts, and this tour is going to prove it beyond doubt.
If you’ve not grabbed tickets yet, you’re playing a dangerous game. Don’t be that muppet begging for spares outside the venue. Get in there, mun.
Verdict: Lush. Loud. Legendary.
