Music feeds the soul, but sometimes we all need somewhere to catch our breath.
As the countdown to Latitude Festival 2026 enters its final days (seriously… it’s next week already! 😱🎶), organisers and volunteers are once again making sure that festival-goers have access to one of the event’s most important spaces – the Recovery Tent.
Running throughout the festival from 23rd–26th July in the Main Village, the Recovery Tent offers a welcoming, judgement-free environment for anyone in recovery, supporting someone in recovery, or simply looking for a calm space away from the hustle and bustle of festival life.
💚 A Safe Space in the Heart of the Festival
Festivals are incredible places. They’re packed with amazing music, unforgettable moments and lifelong memories, but they can also be overwhelming.
That’s why the Recovery Tent has become such a valued part of Latitude.
Open daily from 8:30am until 7:30pm, the tent provides a peaceful place for fellowship, conversation and support throughout the weekend.
Whether you’re attending your first festival sober or you’ve been part of the recovery community for years, everyone is welcomed with open arms.

👼 Festival Angels Are Back Too!
You’ll also spot a brilliant team of Festival Angels operating the AIR (Assistance, Information, Response) Hub at Hollow Tree Lane, located at the top entrance to the Main Village.
Think of them as some of the friendliest faces on site.
Pop over and say hello—they’ll have plenty of useful bits and pieces available, including:
- ☀️ Sun cream
- 🦟 Bug spray
- 🩹 Plasters
- 🎨 Temporary tattoos
- 🎟️ Stickers
- 😊 Friendly advice and a warm welcome
They’re also the Arena stop for the festival tractor bus, making them an easy landmark if you’re trying to find your bearings.
🎶 Festivals Are Built on Community
At The Riff Report, we love celebrating the biggest bands, the loudest crowds and the muddiest fields—but it’s just as important to shine a spotlight on the people working behind the scenes to make festivals welcoming for everyone.
The Recovery Tent and Festival Angels are fantastic reminders that the festival community is about kindness as much as it is about music.
Whether you need support, directions, a plaster after a blister-filled walk across the site, or simply someone to chat to, these volunteers are there to help without judgement.
That’s something worth applauding.
🤘 The Riff Report’s Take
Rock, indie, pop, folk—whatever brings you to Latitude, remember that looking after yourself and those around you is just as important as catching your favourite headline set.
If you’re heading to Henham Park next week, keep an eye out for the Recovery Tent and the Festival Angels AIR Hub. Even if you don’t need their services, knowing they’re there helps make Latitude a safer, friendlier festival for everyone.
Have an amazing weekend, stay hydrated, wear your sun cream, check in on your mates, and above all… enjoy the music! 🌳🎶❤️🤘
