🔥 THE STONEDEAD FORMULA JUST WORKS
There’s something beautifully old-school about Stonedead Festival.
It takes the spirit of the legendary one-day rock festivals of years gone by and throws it into a modern festival setting — big guitars, massive choruses, cold drinks and thousands of rock fans gathered in front of the same stage.

Newark Showground has become synonymous with Stonedead, providing plenty of space for the annual invasion of rockers, campers, traders, food vendors and people who’ve apparently packed enough beer to survive a small apocalypse.
Come August Bank Holiday weekend 2027, it’ll all happen again.
The amps will fire up.
The horns will go in the air.
The battle jackets will emerge.
And somewhere, inevitably, somebody will be attempting to carry four pints through a packed crowd without spilling half of them.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the rather large leather-clad elephant in the room.
The date is locked in — now comes the delicious wait for the bands.
Part of the fun surrounding Stonedead is watching that line-up slowly take shape and wondering which established rock favourites, cult heroes and rising bands will be stepping onto that single stage.
Who’s headlining?
Who’s getting the coveted special guest slot?
Which band is going to walk away as the unexpected highlight of the entire day?
And which act will have us all shouting:
“HOW THE HELL WERE THEY THAT LOW ON THE BILL?!”
