“We’re Going Underground…” and Taking You With Us 🤘💀

C’mon then, stoner rock disciples and lovers of deliciously filthy riffs — the Queens Of The Stone Age are back to raise hell across Europe and the UK this winter with their Catacombs Tour, and it’s shaping up to be one gloriously unhinged pilgrimage into the sonic underworld. 🔥🎸

That’s right, Josh Homme and his merry band of desert-drenched deviants are diving headfirst into historic venues, cathedral acoustics, and potentially haunted opera houses (you just know they picked ‘em on purpose), with a tour that kicks off in Milan on November 18 and reaches its final, face-melting crescendo at none other than London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on November 29. 🎤💂‍♀️

🗺️ THE ROUTE TO ROCK REDEMPTION: TOUR DATES

So, whether you’re skanking down in Italy or getting spooky in Scandinavia, there’s a crypt near you ready to be shaken to its foundations. 💣

🎶 WHAT TO EXPECT? PURE, UNCUT QUEENS CHAOS

We’re talking slow-burning grooves, unholy fuzz, and Homme’s honey-and-whiskey croon slicing through the thick fog of psychedelia and testosterone. From the head-bobbing sensuality of “Make It Wit Chu” to the full-pelt assault of “Go With The Flow”, you better believe you’re in for a setlist that could summon ghosts and cause minor tectonic shifts. ⚡🌍

Also, we’d put actual money on them dropping a few deep cuts and B-sides into the set. You’ve been warned: brush up on your Lullabies to Paralyze and Villains before the gig. Or just wing it and shout “F*CK YEAH!” every time the lights dim. It works.

🏛️ THE VENUES: BEAUTIFUL CHAOS IN CLASSY PLACES

This tour isn’t about hitting the usual sweaty backroom clubs (not that we’d mind that either). No, this time the Queens are leveling up, bringing that glorious filth into venues where you’d usually expect to hear a string quartet… not “Feel Good Hit of the Summer.”

  • Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber, Milan – red velvet seats and Josh Homme whispering sweet nothings? Yes please.
  • Columbiahalle, Berlin – gritty, industrial, and guaranteed to be LOUD.
  • Royal Albert f*ing Hall**, London – chandeliers may fall. Nobody tell the Queen. (Or… do.)

Only in Europe, mun. Only in Europe.

🎟️ TICKETS: GET IN THE PIT OR GET IN THE BIN

Ticket details are expected to drop very soon, and when they do, run, don’t walk. If you miss out, the only catacomb you’ll be in is the one you built yourself out of regret and limited edition vinyl.

If you’re part of any fan clubs, mailing lists, or dodgy WhatsApp groups, keep those notifications on and those browser tabs open. It’s gonna be a bloodbath.

😈 THE VIBE? GOTHIC GLAM, RIFF WORSHIP & DESERT DEMON ENERGY

This tour ain’t about stadium pyro and inflatable pigs. It’s about atmosphere, intensity, and an overwhelming sense that you’re watching a band that has fully evolved into their final, majestic boss-level form.

Expect:

  • 💀 Songs to summon the dark lord to
  • 🎩 Gigs in places where opera ghosts roam
  • 🧛 Vampiric elegance meets whiskey-soaked riffage
  • 🤯 A live sound so deep it could rattle your ancestors

💬 THE RIFF REPORT SAYS…

“This isn’t just a tour – it’s a pilgrimage into the Queens’ inner sanctum. If you’ve never seen them live before, now’s your moment. If you have, well… it’s time to go deeper. Into the CATACOMBS we go.”

📢 FINAL THOUGHT: GET READY TO SWEAT IN STYLE

This might be the sexiest, weirdest, and most spiritually filthy tour QOTSA have ever put together. So dress nice, bring earplugs (you won’t use them), and prepare to be baptised in glorious guitar fuzz.

Catacombs aren’t for the faint of heart, butt. But they are for the rock faithful. 🖤🤘
